You have to be pretty hardcore to be leveling legend relievers. I still have two BXP relievers who are barely used and have fine numbers.

I think we’ve had this debate before, but double LHP is a pretty crappy skill set. It’s basically good for WOH (when you need a closer against lefties) and the occasional cvc round, and little else.

This is what killed me today. Opened 15 of the boxes and pulled Trammell only twice. Makes even a mini-cap impossible at that rate. I’d be content if the repull rates were higher. I'm still using 480 Ripken, so I'll level him. An all ATG OF, with 535s all down my roster, but just haven't been able to fill the SS spot. This is welcome for me even knowing a bump has to be around the corner.

ATGs are the best for that two week bonus period, but even on the last day of his bonus, I'd still level an elite guy like Teddy. I’ve completely pivoted on v LHP. My keeper has those skills, but that was a remnant of WOH days gone by. Now, players with those skills have the worst stats on my team, and guys like Polanco close just fine.

The problem is that the event is still set up for power cycling, but the difficulty is high enough that power cycles would be really expensive. I’m losing auto plays in Level 5 all the time. It’s still very beatable but doing it fast is probably out of my range. I’m only platinum though.

The worst weekends are the ones where you get the same prime 8x and nobody else. Happened to me with Reddick back in early August and I got so mad that I deleted the game. That Gwynn is sweet. That is the best skill combo in the game...my 500 Damon with those skills outhits DiMaggio. I actually have a chance at Gwynn too...leveled Bell yesterday, so Glu will probably let me have another 520 3b lol.

Very true. It’s why guys like Boog were not chase-worthy (although I have him and he’s great). ROB and Fire were not great WOH skills last year, but with the difficulty not as high, those skills work fine now. Even turned down the way it is now, though, you usually need some skills active to win.

Those skills on DiMaggio play just fine in WOH. You can definitely close with him against lefties. I did with Kaline (same skills) many times.

It's maybe a shade tougher. Boog lost on 5.10 the first time, but got him on the video restart. Doc may just be overreacting a touch. (What?! That never happens!)

If I didn't already have my OF filled, Gonzalez would be great. Nothing to complain about IMO. His RHP skill is the best out there, and close game is great for Head to Head and WOH at least.
