Why Does WOH disappear randomly?

So with certain events WOH goes away for stretches of time and my progress just goes away.  Like just now at 4pm EST ***poof***  right as I was in the middle of round 3.  Restarts don't get it back.  What's up with that??

WOH is available during WOH day (Monday) or Royale.  Other than that it is only a “pop-up” event and there is no schedule I know of.  Best tip is it appears or disappears when multiplier changes usually and always at the top of the hour.  If it’s up then play as if you only have the hour. 🤷🏻‍♂️
