Was anyone able to access the extra bases event?

The second the event was so supposed to start it disappeared

    I’ve been trying to figure out what happened today. I checked multiple times and there was no event. Now it wants me to collect but I had not points. So I’m not sure what the schedule was. 

    That’s always bugged me. They drop in these events without notice and without a schedule. It looked like they were on a schedule last year and the start of this year, but then it’s not there when you expect it.

    They usually do it Sunday night, Tuesday and Thursday afternoon so I was ready for the event and even saved up gold for it but the same exact thing happened to me

    I collected my empty rewards this evening - from the non-existent event. Got pretty much the same rewards as the real events. So didn't phase me at all....

    Sounds like we all deserve 1st place rewards.
