I think the game has handicap logic built in. The first few innings, pitches are unhittable or batted ball can't find a hole. Latter, your hitters nail the pitcher hard.
Definitely replace Joe Smith. He doesn't throw hard and is very hittable. Haven't had enough experience with your inactive RP's to recommend his replacement.
Absolutely nothing wrong with that strategy. You're not the first and will not be the last to employ it. Life's too short to drudge and struggle any more than you need to to reach your goals, especially in this virtual world.
9/5/8 lifetime and 9/6/9 for his career year His control was often spotty. Lifetime stuff is only 8 because only about 1/3 of his entire career was dominant.
Pros: Tulo isn't going to hit home runs all the time. Santana won't get many extra base hits but will steal the extra base. Santana is more versatile of a hitter against either lefties or righties. Santana's speed will allow him to score from beyond 3rd base more often.
The players left in the pool are not worth drafting anyway. I want to hold on to my inactives in case of a future player update. I can see quite a few 4.5 star players being upgraded and 5* players downgraded. I agree that Apple CPU's are weak. But the game's memory management leaves a lot to be desired.
My weekend draft was a mixed blessing. I took the long way and just recently finished draining all 3*-4* players. Then, my existing first round and #1 picks yielded some 2.5* but mostly 4.5* players. From then on, first round picks at 75 gold each were guaranteed to yield 4.5-5* players. The downside is my huge pool of…
Perhaps the problem has to do with the # of tournament games already played. If you played too many tourneys, the process to generate a new one may take longer than your device can handle and times out. Even the iPhone 6+ specs are almost as weak as those of the mini 2. Only the Air 2 has appreciately better specs.
Just experienced the same problem on my iPad Mini 2. To resolve the issue, I used an Air 2 to start and unlock the tourney game. Afterwards, the tourney games worked fine on the Mini 2. I'm assuming that the weak hardware specs of older iPads couldn't handle the large number of inactive.
Are you experiencing the tourney lockup on iPads older than the Air 2? If so, does the loading spinner just run when trying to initiate a tourney game from the Games screen? If on the Tournament screen, does tapping the start game button only make a click sound and nothing more?
I think that updated ratings will reflect a player's recent past seasons and not just their current one. Thus, I don't expect a huge stat jump for players having career years. Dee Gordon will be a 8/1/9 player as he has never hit for 300 in a full season. Bump Harper to maybe 8/8/5. Gerrit Cole is upgraded to 8/6/7.…
