  • 1st Base 5 stars = 6 4.5 = 3 + 1 before the update (Edwin Encarnación) 4 = 9 3.5 = 5 + 1 (Adam LaRoche) 3 = 4 2.5 = 11 + 1 2 = 9 + 1 1.5 = 6 + 1 1 = 3 + 1 Unknown = 10
  • I am working on a complete dataset and will post when reasonably finished. My fear is that posting something half done will end up causing 50 versions to float around. I need help with players 2 stars and under if anyone would be so kind to post what they know.
  • How many players at a position is a database I am still working on. Its complicated because people play different positions and I still don't understand the Glu process of deciding where a player "plays". Also I have data for players before the update but havent seen them since. Finally some of the info is taken from the…
  • In the past two days I have had so many strange things happen,. A couple were just unusual - I had a foul ball dropped, never seen that before. Had a ball hit over the head of the 1st baseman and as he ran to catch it was called out (he was facing the outfield wall, never turned around). But two things appear to be…
  • Thanks Amused. I also found Garrett Richards at 6/5/8
  • Both are right handed I have faced Chris Hatcher 3 times with ERA of 3.00, WHIP of 1.00 and 9k/9 Drew Storen 7 times with 2.57, 1.75 and 5.1 It appears that the higher Arm of Chris = more strikeouts for me (maybe I just have problems with the speed of the pitches) but there really isn't enough data to be statistically…
  • Bravoman, I have different stats than you for James Shields - I show 6/6/8 Also, here are a couple extra Tyson Ross 7/4/8 Jeff Samardzija 6/8/7 Anibel Sanchez 6/7/8 Colin McHuge 6/7/7 By the way, it gets real confusing because I have found players that were SP last "year", and when the big update happened they moved to…
  • I have both. V mart is .415 in 1500ab, santana is .426 in 800. Vmart always bats ahead of santana, I wonder if the pictures get tired with each batter or just with each inning?
  • I count 70 5-star and 60 4.5-star players on my list. List not complete yet, but close. There are 1342 players in MLB, I assume the majority are in the game.
  • I have both Jay and Gardner, along with Nava in my OF. My stats are not even close between the two - much larger than the numbers should predict. I don't know how Span plays but I would swap Gardner for Span in a minute if I had a chance. Jay 8/2/5 997AB, .357/.384/..397/.781 Gardner 6/5/8 1302 .269/.294/.350/.644 Biggest…
  • I am a stats nerd. one day soon I will upload my database. Trying hard right now to guess the algorithm, I thinks it's simpler than people may think.
  • Interestig how similar their stats are. I usually give pitchers 35 innings before I gage their stats though so 1 bad outing would not be enough for me to toss someone
  • I have had kluber for a while and slowly moved him down my rotation. While he is 11-1, his stats are 70IP 3.09era 8.5k/inning ba0.264 and whip of 1.10. All these stats except k's are the worst of my 5 starters but he is the only 5 star. He does ok against some teams but the computer eats him alive. Struggling now to decide…
  • I have noticed some games moving to wins after just a few innings so I figured this much. What is frustrating is that when you have a lot of open games until it happens you cant play. Does anybody know how long that takes?
