Extended Timed Quests

I know it's not just me who gets a time quest right before/after running out of energy. I'll even buy skulls to purchase energy but re-spawning zombies and scavenging quests on top of taking over new ground from first time kill zombies is becoming frustrating. So either we need more time for timed quest or the zombies need to respawn more slowly or energy needs to be available every minute instead of every four minutes.

Maybe they could introduce an item which could be found via scavenging (rare), which you can use to add 30 minutes to a timed mission?
