Arrows pointing up and down?

The arrows I'm referring to can be viewed when you click on a zombie and its next to their status bar. It is either a green arrow pointing up or red pointing down. What u don't understand is what it means in reference to the symbol that is next to it eg. Poison and up arrow. Help??

The up arrow means that particular "element" shown beside it (electricity, fire, cold, poison) does a bit more damage to that zombie. The down arrow means that the zombie is resistant to that "element" beside it and will take a bit less damage from it. So, for example, a poison up arrow means it takes more damage from poison-based attacks while a fire down arrow means it takes less damage from fire-based attacks.

You can use any element weapon except the one with the down arrow.

You can still use any weapon, it just won't do as much damage if the arrows are down on that particular element.
