Sadly, it appears that two of the top IOS players have quit CKS and moved on: Patrickpoillot #1, 108453 VP and Tonyzaper, #4, 72161 VP have not played in some time and both have left their clan, Franc, and not joined another. Even though Patrick appears to have retired from the game, his massive lead of 28000 VP over second place guarantees that he will remain in first place for several months, even if he never plays another PVP. End of an era.
End of an era is a good way to describe it. Eventually everyone, even the leaders must move on ... hopefully on their own terms and by choice. Let's give 'em hell before we leave !!!

I was interested to see that the All-Time VP numbers were very similiar. #1 A-T on IOS is 108,452 VP.
My Heavy, the Karma, 17.5, 18.25M, is now 60% upgraded, the most possible with current vaults.
Mine also, I am starting to wonder if it will be effective vs TIER 17? Another column ... JEEZ ... One thing is or sure, if players weren't able to grab one when they could, they're going to "bleed" come tier 17.
Grabbing the BLOBFISH now would require upgrading to get it up to speed by the next tier, if we see one, and that would most likely take the better part of a month (at least 3 Globals); add in the base upgrades ... it's starting to get ugly.
I don't know where GLU is going with these prices, but TOOBAD is on life support about now and may have only one cycle left.
BTW I've got the drone up to 430K and still can't upgrade the weapons. I'll leave HANDLES a message on Monday, but it looks like I have no choice but to continue on to 510K.

I think I read somewhere in this forum that you could be attacked even while playing and challenged. Out of curiosity, I looked through about 50 pages of the battle log. No challenges, in fact no DEFENSIVE BATTLES (won OR lost) of any kind. What's up with that?

Attacks (Battle Log tab) remain the same, only when you are off-line. Challenges (Challenge Tab) can happen while your are on line if you are set up for challenge notifications, you will get notice of the Challenge after the fact. I am Challeged frequently, often by players with less than 10 VP, 106 Sniper and Assault, no Tesla or Heavy.
The challenge thing is pointless, though it does get you VP. The only time I challenge is when I want to communicate with a player, since I can leave a message with the Challenge.
Another observation is that most of my battles, especially the LARGE vaults (greater than 150K), are against "bots" with cloned drones. The relatively fewer battles I fight against "real" players have SMALL vaults (less than 70K) but they seem to all have 2.95M drones. Interesting ...

I sent HANDLES a private message, as well as started a forum thread, describing the problem with upgrading drone weapons parts once 410K power on the support drone has been reached. Hopefully, it's something I'm doing that's wrong and NOT a program bug, although that wouldn't surprise me. I'll keep everyone informed as to the outcome.

You do know it's now cheaper to pay for upgrades using GOLD right? But what "fun" would that be ... sort of defeats the purpose of playing at all; RIGHT GLU?.

This is where the SCORPION stands. Using the KARMA as a barometer, we have 1-2 cycles left, provided TIER 17 prices don't make it into low Earth orbit.
(1) DRONE Development has been suspended.
(2) WEAPONS do not require any further upgrades.
(3) Remaining BASE upgrades offer NO VALUE, other than to progress to TIER 17.

How do you figure? Take for example my next upgrade which is a first Level, Tier 16 Base. The cost of that is 350 Gold or 6.02M Diamonds. If I take that 350 Gold and buy Energy, that is enough to buy 52.5 PVP. At 150K vault, my current average, I get 7.9M Diamonds through play, enough to do the upgrade plus 1/3 of the next upgrade. The old rule still works for me, besides, I need the VP.

I guess there is no way to know whether the top gun is likely to be a Tela or a Heavy. I assume that since last week's top gun was a Heavy, this one will be a Tesla.
Here is an odd one: Several members of my Clan did the Super Vip to 9250 Gold to get the Blobfish, which is !0% LESS powerful than the Karma they have already upgraded using Gold because they hate the gun. These are the same people who talked me into the Super VIP to get the Karma.
