I had a hard time beating 5.7 to 5.10 without capping them in gold. Trout at 5.10 routinely goes 10 for 10 and outhits you even when you are capped in gold. Good luck today.
Annoying and bragging post of the day: While everyone was frustrated with walk off hero, those of us who kept up with Slugfest, received 10k of xp per cycle. I was able to cycle 13 times.
I’m sorry that this user is deceptive. As a Glu employee we take this very seriously. Now, to remedy this problem I will be able to give you VIP status after you donate 20,000 balls to club: midget
Most people who cycle multiple times autoplay players 1-7 per round and play 8-10. This saves time and if your team is good enough you will still make blue cash per round unless you get stuck on Level 5 for too many tries. If you have trouble with a certain player such as 3.6 and you keep losing to autoplay, try to play…
@Bigpredfan I’m 2/3 of the way through 56 per day too. It’s my first time buying I this year. By the end of the season, how much gold did were you getting per day? Seems like 400 is out of reach.
We know that's the answer for everything. But in a normal WOH cycle in Gold if I bring a player to G1 and cycle 10 times, I'm making around 10k xp plus saving 25k xp by not capping the player to G10. Right now I'm averaging 3k per WOH cycle. So for 10 cycles where I would've made 125k XP I'm making 30k XP AND having to…
The problem is for Gold or higher capping a player is extremely expensive for the short term boost of a player. I don't want four POM players, I'd rather have one (or a non POM) who I can level up for the lowest XP possible.
Or maybe they’ve realized many people can build their teams without buying boxes. Cycling walk off is the easiest and cheapest way to improve your team. Maybe player of the month rewards are the new norm. This will force us to buy boxes to build one’s team. Hoping it’s not that way, just an off week......
I know we all second guess if pennants do anything, but maybe they mean more for season mode in platinum or higher. By going up early, most of your starting lineups most likely is suffering from lack of pennants as it would be if you went to platinum after winning a lot more seasons. Not sure this has anything to do with…
Also, what's the purpose to have the contest at a different time every Friday? They expect us to be on Twitter for that exact 15 minutes every week? I understand they only want the contest for 15 minutes so it can trend, but they'd have a lot more retweets if it were the same time every Friday.
@DFBB How about if you are at Platinum? It costs about 25k xp to get through gold. Don't know the trade in difference but I'd assume it's not worth it if you are only going to finish off a few cycles and don't need the player.
