  • Agreed. Very annoying!
  • It is technically possible as you get 48 duels per 24 hours. However, in most instances, it would be unlikely when you factor in eating, sleeping, school/work, etc. You can play more frequently by buying 3 coins three times in the store. You can also refill for 15 gold. However, it would also take spending a lot of gold on…
  • For me, it's a mix. With the real players, I get the skewed scoring that I got prior to the update; and, against the computer opponents, the scoring it +10 or -10. On a related note, the people who have challenged me have ranged from low level players to top 10 players.

  • Excited? Yes. Super excited? No. There are still a number of bugs, but I certainly do like some of the changes that came with the update.
  • That is typical type of prize for me. Yet, I still play it every week during those times when I'm low on VIP recipes and don't want to spend coins on duels without sufficient VIP recipes.
  • Not sure about the max duel points or perhaps it has changed. The #1 ranked player in the world already has 1930 points (and we are less than 24 hours from the reset), which means the player has already won 63 times. Highly unlikely that someone would have 63 coins to play 63 matches (in 18 hours), let alone go 63-0 in…
  • Or, what's more likely, some of the chefs aren't real people (just like some of the sellers in the market). Developer sets great weekly rewards in Chef Duels to encourage usage (and the spending of $$$); however, by populating the top 20 with chefs who aren't real, the developer limits the number of times that those…
  • I cant figure out how to attach a picture, but my opponent scored 1349 in a chef duel in BBB.
  • Funny that you mention screenshots. I've taken approximately 200 screenshots of duel results for the purpose of seeing if I can reverse engineer how scoring and ticket awards work. However, I've yet to do anything with them. As an FYI, here is a screenshot from a BBB duel I just lost where my opponent scored well over 1250.
  • I have 100% on all of the upgrades and I have all 3 VIP spots unlocked for BBB. I average around 1000. If I use all 3 boost spots, then I average around 1050-1100. If I don't use any boosts, then my scores tend to run around 800. I do believe that ive scored over 1200 points, but not sure if I've eclipsed 1250. (I…
  • Same here. Doesn't seem worth it unless she is regularly giving gold or VIP dishes, which I doubt.
  • I have a stuck duel that has been there for a month. I also have a seemingly permanent 1 showing on the clothing store icon that I can't get rid of. Annoying for us OCD types.
  • I don't like it - especially duels. It has tremendously reduced any skill advantage. One issue I have is when I accidentally pick up a single ingredient (out of habit). Whereas before, I could use that ingredient to make multiple dishes (e.g., if I accidentally picked up chicken, I could still use the chicken to make…
  • I've had this issue as well.
  • I absolutely agree. The best thing you can do is forfeit those marches in which you are challenged (you will only lose 3 points and the loss won't count in your record). For those matches that you initiate, you can exit the game as soon as you see the other person's stats for the venue and all you will lose is that duel…
  • Yes, there is an inherent risk in deciding whether to use boosts; however, the scoring framework encourages forfeits as well as creates an environment that stifles competitive matches. For instance, I would be much more willing to take a risk and not use boosts when dueling against someone who is a couple of levels below…
  • There are a couple of venues where I can score over 1000 points without boosts. For instance, my DnC venue stats are similar to the example you gave, but I routinely score over 1000 when dueling there and I often don't use boosts if playing against someone who I feel I can beat at that venue. PP is another example of a…
  • Agreed. Nothing more frustrating than using multiple prep recipes that go to waste because of forfeiture.
  • In my opinion, the chef duels are BADLY flawed in multiple aspects. 1) As has been noted, there is no congruity with scoring. As such, there is no incentive for a highly ranked person to play a lower ranked person. I don't want to risk losing 20 points for the possible reward of gaining 2 or 3 points. (And then if I lose…
  • I believe this VIP adds 7 seconds. Doesn't seem to work in Chef duels though.
  • Hoping that Tomy Yum is prize showcase for next week! I'm thinking he will be 60-20-10 as the other chefs have been (except Chopper Joe).
  • I may have to do that! Upgrades to the Chef Arena are crazy high. 😪 But I get scared that I'll out in the time and won't receive the gold.
  • I took the plunge and I got 2 pink tickets as well.
  • I'm in a similar boat - I need 3 pink tickets so that I can buy Shiloh. I don't want to wait for it to come around again; nor do I want to buy the pink tickets using gold. I think I can get 2 pink tickets from Auto Chef duel (against Becky Ann), but I'd still have to find 1 more pink ticket before the duels reset in a few…
