Gewehr

I completed all the campaigns except Omaha.I currently have a karabiner and i dont think it is very effective.I have 127 glu credits and i want to know is it worth to buy the gewehr rifle and its specifications.
Also i am unsure how the omaha final mission will be so can anyone tell me how the boss is.
