iOS game keeps resetting when I click out of it

I'm new to this forum so please excuse me if this has been addressed. I updated the game today and now when I leave the game to wait for my energy to refill, it restarts the job I'm working on. Any star I collect, it's gone. Even when I click out of it and quickly go back in, it restarts over (shows the Glu screen). Any fix for this? It's very annoying.

Thanks for the report. I have seen some other reports that are similar but there is not a fix for it at this time.
