New Galaxy S7 active and can't get to my Tap Sports Baseball account

I have tried to log in with Facebook and with Google. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, I have cleared cache, etc. No matter what I do, the game wants me to start over, it will not connect me to my account. My google play account shows I have 27 achievements and shows all my past purchases, however I can't get to my team. I read the pinned post about changing devices. It has been about 18 hours. Had Google on the phone and they believe it's a game developer problem. My name in the game is the same as on this forum.

    I will do that, I did request help from inside the game, however I may have found the answer to my own question. I am not sure I ever logged in, just through Google Play Games. If what is below is correct it appears I may have lost everything which does not make sense to me. I spent quite a bit of money building my team. If I did lose everything that will certainly be the last money I ever spend on something like this.

    Playing the game solely on your local device is possible, but not recommended. because the program data is erased from your device, your progress will be gone with no way to recover it You should definitely choose a method of saving your progress online, where it will be safe from deletion.

    USE SOCIAL MEDIA TO SAVE YOUR GAME

    IOS users may choose between saving on Glu's servers using their email address as a login, or by linking the game to their Facebook account.

    Android users may choose to use either their Google+ login, or their Facebook account.


    One and only one social media can be used at a time. For example If you switch from an "email login" to a "Facebook login" then you will be starting a brand new team when you make the switch. Your current team is being saved on the social media you have selected when you started playing the game.
    Please note that if you did not select any social media then the game is local to your device and is not being saved online. If the game is uninstalled from the device all progress will be lost, this is why it is highly recommended to select a social media for your online save. Glu cannot recover games lost in this manner.

    If you try to play on more than one device using the same login, you may run into sync problems. For this reason it is not recommended to play on more than one device.

    What type of phone/tablet did you use to create the team? Did you 'save' it by logging into email/FB/Google+?

    I used a Galaxy S5 active, I assumed I was logged in because I played the game for almost 6 months and made quite a few in game purchases. Android users only have two ways to log in on the game. Either through Google or through Facebook. I have tried both and neither worked. Apparently GLU is not going to respond to me. I sent them an email 5 days ago and got an auto response but that's it.
