Negative Glu Coins

I am sure this issue has come up for a lot of people, and it has for me too. I was started out with about 5 Glu Coins in Blood and Glory, but in about 30 minutes of playing the game, the total coins turned into the number "-8960". Can I have any advice/help on this issue? My phone is a DROID MINI.
