HORRIBLE LAG

I was using a galaxy and the lag was awful. I got a new phone mainly bc of this game. It has 3gb ram. And I have 4 apps on it aside from what came with the phone. It takes me over 5 minutes for the app to start. It just took me over 10mins to auto play one cvc round. Anyone else having this? It's been happening since I got the phone .
