Did anyone else find the GLU gun totally obsolete?

The taser is faster to incapacitate enemies, and the ammo is much more plentiful. The only reason I kept the glu gun in my inventory was because it was useful for climbing, patching hole, and insulating electrifying panels.

Edit: maybe obsolete wasn’t the word I meant?
