They use Game Guardian (or something similar) to freeze their win streak at over 50 games and also to freeze their energy levels and let a game program like repetitouch play the games for them. I enjoy the derby event but I'd never spend gold on it. I use bronze draft picks and I have a decent group of sluggers. I just beat tier 3 for the first time yesterday without spending any gold.

12k sounds about right but I honestly can't remember. I just distinctly remember thinking at the end it was a horrible idea. I got Nolan Ryan in my 6th Legends box, so that is roughly the same price.

A lot of players are quitting now that hacking has made their teams worthless. If you join a club and are one of their better contributors they would be foolish to boot you. I joined a club through this forum and I couldn't be happier.

We had similar issues with DP teams. They would suddenly jump to the top of different brackets. We ended up passing a DP team for first, it was weird, they scored a total of 100 points half of Saturday and all of Sunday after putting up a pile on Friday and Saturday morning.

What's the end game here? Someone buys all of the uniforms spending hundreds in real life money? The thought of that makes me sick to my stomach, especially knowing it's GLU that profits from it.

No response from GLU on any of my issues. You will be taken care of by Apple, be thankful you didn't use the Play Store. Google says there is nothing they can do despite the fact that their main rival issues full refunds.

I'm done with the leagues for this reason. The one I joined yesterday had 3 all legend teams. Myself and the other non-cheater got crushed.

It is free gold every day forever. If you are going to play this game long term it's a decent investment. It does go up to 16 gold per day at level 2 but not all gold spent counts towards the goal. I am only 1600 gold towards level 2 but I know I have spent a lot more than that since I got the stadium.
