Dont use gold for any draft. "draft" is code for "costed you gold to get someone to trade". get a decent club that gets you bonus games and cash. spend that cash on upgrades. use bonus day to do good for your club and earn you enough 2nd round picks to trade for a #1 disappointment...but at least it didnt cost gold. Bad news. you need to blow your team up and restart. there is no demotion. Trick to avoid the autopromote is to keep a low star player or two on your bench. if your teams good enough you wont need them. that keeps your overall stars down and allows you to dominate lower levels.

Lineup is both starter and sub. no inactive is counted against your team. but all active players. So its still out there. i used to see gold every few days and it always seemed to the left or right. i havent seen gold in a while, but i had won some 3 times previously. so there was concern.

There is a red circle on the top left of the screen before the game. click on it and forfiet the game. do that 3 times until youve lost the playoffs. after that you will have 3 bonus games, not the full 20 to get there. win those 3 and repeat the process.

Also, in regards to keeping low in rank i recommend a 1 star on your bench at least. i keep a 218 guy on my pine to steal bases and hit bad enough to keep my total star level in the right league. What kind of a world do we live in where a team loses in extra innings without ever bringing in the best closer in the game? My guy pulls an era of .54 he plays. Simple.

A "Boost upgrades" gold option. For 100 gold you can up all your upgrades for 1 game. So a player with a 20 hitting can have a slight advantage with his now 21 hitting. And 21 catcher 21 pitcher calling. And so forth and so on.

How about a more numberical "vs" gauge. There's a red bar that tells me I have better hitting then their smaller blue bar. But what if my total hitting was 96 and his was 76 but his power is 68 to my 44. I could gauge better a) why some teams are beating me b) where I am in terms of my level c) how are successful teams…

Is it concievable that the HR derbys lack popularity and the pool of players decreases with each passing level leaving someone inclined to player shy of competitors? Also, a glitchy system and a fixed gold loop hole make the HR an unappealing option. Thats just my theory, maybe Glu IS out to get you. I dont know.

Stats would be more relevant if they were made current. Like say, have a "per 162 games" stat for in game display. I see more value in ".270 16hr 87rbi" then ".270 796hr 3585 rbi" in terms of a 4 power hitting who has played 5387 games. A catcher with career bests at 30hr, 101 rbi, and he hit over .290 once. Also 20 for 41 in sb. Yet a 16 14 5. Do we really need actual players attached to these random numbers? Can't we just call the 16 14 5 switch hitting catcher pablo sanchez dingleshmidt and just play?

Auto advancing is a science i do not understand. All i know is i worked hard to keep my stars low. Then switched a 4 star for a 4.5 with more power to try for 4 hrs in a game. When i logged on next i was advanced 2 levels and my win percentage suffered.

The star is like an average of your team. If your line up is all 4 star players. Youd have a 4 star rating. Have a couple 5 stars in there. You may be a 4.5. Be warned, this is bad. LR come in in blow outs or last in an extra innings. SM comes in for 8th inning type work. CL gets the 9ths or end game. RP1 is the a 7th inning option. RP2 plays if all hope is lost.
