Weekend events ?

Hi, is there some weekend events in this game like in KKH? I am just asking if I should wait for it or if I can waste my energy on some gigs.
It honestly take forever when the energy is full and I forgot how expensive is to travel without car or airplane. Hope there will be a chance to savr money by buying car or plane.
Anyway, any ideas abour weekend events? If there would be something, when does it start and when does it end?

There had been 3 events so far but its uncertain if they will have a fixed day and time like KKH at the moment. It did start at the same time as KKH event previously.

I think it'll be another couple weeks before they implement weekend events, just to give people a chance to get used to the current box & sticker system.
