So, My devices took the mini update early this afternoon, and we're just waiting around,
wondering what the weekend will bring.

If you have Monday off, how do you celebrate Memorial Day? I was a Band Geek,
and a Boy Scout Troup Mascot before that...
so I was always a marcher, never a watcher when it came to the parade.

So if you're watching the parade, and you see a piccolo player in a short skirt, or a Baritone Sax Blower in little white boots, that girl could be playing Glu Games right now.

Post teasers and info, I know they suggested Gigs this weekend, so....what does that mean?

A dancing PURPLE pickle. I think she's knows how to groove. I did the 3 K Girls and Kris, but Kris was the only one that I could really make dance. So, she's the only who could come out to play today. Pikles for everyone (It's not a Cheeseburger without them) Sleep Tight and get up Early tomorrow Amy!

Yay! I'm so glad that Glu gave us an extra day to complete the event but I don't think that I will be grinding for that hideous hairstyle. It just doesn't even motivate me at all to grind until the finish line.

This is going to be a rough event for me to complete because we are going out of town Saturday to Monday. I can't miss earnable hair though (plus Bettie Page bangs), so I will be grinding like there's no tomorrow, tomorrow and as much as I can at our destination (Plymouth, Mass) when we aren't out and about.

So when I said bright and early, I didn't mean this! It's only 6.30am and I've already been up for over an hour and a half. Why on my Fridays off work do I wake up at the crack of dawn but on the other days I press my snooze button for an hour over and over? lol. Now I'm just sat here waiting for the event haha

Shouldn't the free box supposed to be 25 points only? Or am I wrong? Idk, I totally forgot, but if I'm right, I have a theory that maybe they put an extra day because they increased the points to finish the event. Idk, just a theory.

I recall they did increase the points, was it 625 for the last item? It's not a huge increase actually, I'd rather take the extra day!

Yeah, it's usually 25 for the first box. I think I remember them increasing it before during a long weekend.

Since I woke up early, I looked at the 'other offers' to try and earn some Kstars. There was an offer to register on an online bingo site and deposit £5 in return for 524 Kstars - worth it, right? The smallest star pack is £3.99 for 50 Kstars. So I did it, went on a slot machine type game on the site and won £23.50! So I basically just got over 524 Kstars and £18.50 free!!!! Brilliant start to the day (Please note I do not promote or encourage gambling lol).

I would have loved the top or the necklace but I guess it's not my weekend. Atleast I got an event item and bonus points yiieee I don't wanna buy boxes anymore though. I used up all my stars last weekend event to buy some boxes and I didn't even get anything. I'm afraid it would happen again. The shoes are nice but it's really the least I want to get from the gb items. Yeah, it isn't my weekend. Happy weekend everyone!

I've already taken a stab at two gift box palettes and they were both RUBBISH. I took screenshots of them and will post later. Both times there were only two event items in the bunch (top + necklace) and I didn't get either of them.

Is anyone doing reality show gigs for the weekend event? Or do they not give points? It said professional so I thought that would include it, but I don't know!

I'm not sure about the reality show gigs, I think they will give you event points but if you have So Chic London, the 8 hr shifts there seem to give out the most points for the least energy. (20 points plus bonuses for a full bar of energy).

Reality show gigs? They definitely give points. I just did an 8 hr one and got 20 big blue event stars. Can't wait till SCL opens for me again tommorow. I'm doing 8 hr gigs there, for sure. In fact, I barely do any event related gigs unless it's a 6 hour one. Those give you like 25(?) points, I think?

Actually, for a full energy bar, the reality show gigs give out more points. You can invite 4 guests and each give out 2 points. You get 12 points for completing a gig. You use 19 energy bolts for 1 gig, and I'm assuming you have atleast 37 energy bolts. So for a full bar, you get ((2*4)+12) * 2 = 40 points + bonus points.

Has anyone else received this offer today? I'm debating buying it because last time I bought the Kim's pick I didn't get celebrity perk points but I did on straight up star pack purchases so I wonder if the special offers don't give CP points
