Hi!! I can't remember where I saw it but January 10th is the date in my mind (probably saw it in the new update thread?). Pretty sure we have to finish this 5-week storyline before any updates are released.
And @chelzie the black dress and shell bag are defo 2 things I'm want to buy, unless I throw away diamonds chasing boxes!!

Happy New Year and new beginnings! I've been having some wacky technical issues. First, my favorite contact that I use for Duets disappeared when I am 100% sure I did not delete her. Then, I was banned from this forum (Koko said it was a complete accident/wrong click on her end and she reinstated my account), and now I didn't get my capricorn sys prizes! Hopefully strange things happen only in 3s!
On the bright side, I've been just in love with all the earnables and outfits lately. So feeling great about having gotten so many cute items. Really hope this continues in the new year. I work in design professionally and this game is just so fun when they get the fashions right, just love it. : )

Currently I have the Brooklyn salon, Chevier Paris and Toronto and So Chic (Downtown, Hamptons and London).
Would love to hear from actual players which ones are worth investing the k-stars to buy and furnish

I have the ski resort in st. Moritz which is super easy and quite profitable when fully furnished. I also own the papagayo hotel and sky restaurant in Hollywood and think they’re pretty good too! 💓 would love to hear others opinions as well, and I hope this can help 🙏🏼
I'd go for the Cape Town vineyard, you can sometimes get 5 kstars (it's random unfortunately) if restaurant uses your wine. The perfumery in Lisbon is good to get money quickly, I think you get $12000 and 3 kstars if you choose the most expensive options in production, which total $2,500 so not a lot! I have the Prague and Iceland bars as well and they're okay! The Prague bar is time consuming as you have to make the drinks but I quite enjoy it! The only one I don't like is the Casino in Monaco as you have to travel to find people for your event and it takes too long imo!
I agree definitely go for St Mortiz, and I quite enjoy the Papagayo Hotel as well, although that took me a while to do up!
I have a list of all the businesses somewhere somewhere my notes if you're interested in costs for furnishing? I took it off the forum ages ago and have been adding to it with my own notes!
I haven't had the storyline to unlock all the businesses so can't tell you about the others!
I haven't unlocked the St Moritz ski club but I hear that it's one of the best businesses to own because it does not actually take any energy to run. The So Chics in downtown LA and the Hamptons also don't take energy, but their payout is not k stars.
I also have the Chevier Paris, the Brooklyn salon, So Chic London and the Lisbon perfumery. I have unlocked the options to buy a few other businesses, but I find that I don't necessarily want more - I would need to click or buy energy and I didn't want to do invest that much time. Most businesses are priced so high that you would need to diligently do the shifts for ~25 weeks just to break even, so it's better to own fewer businesses and actually have the time to do them than to have more than you can do.
Realised I forgot to mention another one I have (I rarely do the events!), the LA Gym. I'd avoid buying it personally - it costs 50 k-stars to buy and you get partnership items after each event. Once you've finished the clothing items, it takes 3 weeks to get 3 kstars, so not worth it. Uses up loads of energy and you don't get much in return. But I agree with @quietoffi, if you have loads of other pending tasks the businesses are just one thing too much to do all at the same time without buying energy or spending insane amounts of time on the game. I'm only getting round to buying other businesses as my storylines have calmed down, and no longer have 15 pending 🥴They're a nice bonus but not essential!
Decided to risk opening some boxes, but was too scared to choose dye so I got my bf to pick for me instead... I think he'll be opening all boxes from now on!! Never been so lucky with 10 diamonds!!
so there’s nothing really to give kudos for yet…I tried buying a house but it didn’t show up in the activity.
I gave kudos to Joelle but it’s kinda strange that it’s showing results from the last sys…I think kudos may still be a bit glitchy but hopefully it gets all worked out 🙏🏼
