Mine was unlocked 24 hours after I opened the game yesterday.
You will also gain event points from two 8-hr gigs, plus 60 event points. So, do the math then go enjoy your Saturday night!

so it's just 2-8hr gig and the the chapter is done and we get extra 60 stars? I did started the chapter and did one gig and when I received only 20 star I thought we had to do 3-8hr gig to get a total of 60 star so I kinda exit the story and went on with reality shows.. but if you say there are only 2 gigs and the chapter is done I guess I'll go back to it lol
Yes, there are only two 8hr gigs then you can collect the 60 bonus points. The good thing is, there is no wait time in between gigs, the only wait time is that you will be waiting for your energy bar to be recharged.
I just finished interviewing with Ray and got a third call. Did you finish the third gig? There's usually only 3. Often times the event gigs feel... unfinished. Maybe this is one of those times that the ending is unsatisfying?

Yes I did! I just feel like the general formula for weekend events is like
- phonecall introducing weekend storyline
- first gig
- phonecall bringing up some kind of conflict
- second gig where you make a choice
- phonecall telling you what's going to happen based on your choice
- third gig
- phonecall telling you if you've made good or bad choices overall and then you get more bonus points based on how good your choices were
But we didn't get the last phonecall and I apparently can't deal with routines being changed, haha
My event started in Stories 24 hours after I started the game Friday. I got event points and bonus after each of 2 8 hour gigs. There was no wait time between 8 hour gigs, I waited till I recharged, but you can go in immediately. Each gig was 8 hours...20 Event points & bonus. Then at the end, you get the 60 points.

A very belated Happy Birthday to everyone with birthdays!
Sorry I have not been around much lately. I like the Africa update and I think it's cool that Glu is being super-inclusive with diversity, etc. It's just that, well, Skylar is kind of a monochrome kind of gal and the clothes are very very colorful. And I'm still not over the AMAZING met gala update. I can't believe we got like, every met gala gown. I'm still in heaven. Skylar is still dressing in evening gowns every day. Working a gig at So Chic? Ball gown. Waitressing in the restaurant for a hot second? Floor length Versace. Can't stop won't stop.
Anyway, I finished the event and just started working on the story. From the way the tile is set up, it looks like you have to finish all four chapters for the event points. If Kalinda hadn't clarified you only need to finish one chapter for the event points, I might have skipped it altogether.
