Yeah, they put k-stars back in the trendsetter prizes. And a good thing too because they never should have taken them out to begin with. It wasnât sneaky! But They did something so minuscule so weâd get off their backs, but it worked. We have to remember that we pay their salaries. We are the voice and we can change things. We can make them listen. We are the customers and theyâre giving us a service. Itâs not the other way around.Â

While I think itâs absolutely ridiculous that we only earn 3 diamonds each event, other than that I think itâs a fun and exciting feature and im not sorry about buying a pack đ¤ˇđźââď¸ I wanted to reward myself with items Iâve wanted forever, thatâs all. I shouldnât need to defend my choices, Iâm not trying to brag, and Iâm also not regretting it. I donât appreciate posts calling out those who buy because people can do whatever they want with their money. If you want to boycott diamonds by all means go for it, I respect that and I do hope some aspects change, but making it a blanket statement or calling out players who buy (even if not by name) is disrespectful imo.Â

These were my first 3 looks. I bought a diamond pack because I liked the idea of buying stuff I missed out on when I took a break from the game 2016-2018. There has been so many items I wish I had that were released in those years. Although I do agree that I wish we could earn more during the SYS, and that the items were more affordable, I am happy we can get chances to get items we really like that we missed out on.Â
is anyone else just completely bombing in the voting booth too đ I have like 0 pink items in my kloset I think the theme shouldâve been a bit less specific because half of the looks Iâm seeing in the voting booth anyways are completely ditching the theme or Iâm seeing the same 6-7 outfits over and over again

The free TB item I get once a week (if I complete the event) is not something I've been wanting for months and that makes me sigh every time I see it on another doll. This allows me to get it now instead of waiting for a few years for that item to happen to be in my pallet and for me to happen to select it.. but to each their own..

I was always a fan of TB sales. I always suggested we have them more often. I never cared that I was paying 100 kstars for an old hair that I missed and coveted.Â
Here is the problem, other than the obvious, with implementing an entire new system of flawed currency, the cost went from in game currency we can build, to basically a cash for token exchange.Â
And the amounts per item have skyrocketed into outrageous levels of greed, beyond the freaking levels I would even expect of Glu, and I always expect the worst from this company because they have always done the worst.
These are not special items. These are not new items. They are just items that some people were unfortunate enough to miss. Some of the items aren't even stylish anymore, certainly no longer on trend with current fashion.
These old items should be on clearance levels. You should ne able to get them for under 100 kstars easily, even the hairstyles.
The funny thing is, I play another game, nothing to do with fashion or the Kardashians (not that those two things are really connected to begin with), but this other game just put all of their old items in a system where you can get things at a fraction of the old prices.
They did this because they listen to their forums and heard what players wanted from the past. They have actually always listened to their players and fixed egregious wrongs, apologized, thrown premium currency our way as an apology. But the big difference between these companies is that the other company is highly successful and its games don't die off due to lack of customer care.Â
Wouldn't it be nice if Glu actually cared that most of us are screaming about the insane pricing on this diamond system? Wouldn't it be nice not to be bent over a barrel and have your pocket picked every time they implement a new feature?Â

Oh boy, where to I begin. I do like the new feature but it is pricey. I do see myself saving up for that 1-2 items I really want. But I would say I wonât be buying diamonds unless they add more recent items ( by that I mean like things from the past 12 months)Â
My understanding why most dolls have such adverse reaction to this new feature is that Glu have been systematically removing many features like storylines, new locations and new businesses for this new revamp SYS.Â
I just hope Glu listen to the feedback and either add more diamonds to be earned during the event or why not replace Kash in daily boxes and gold and black boxes in TB with a chance to win diamonds. Other than that, the feature is very cool and plenty room for improvements and I do think the designs of this week earnables and TB items are stellar.
@TrashleyKKH just for the record I do believe the items stop at June 2018. The May items are available, but the sparkle aura which was from 2018 anniversary event is not. I haven't seen any of June items yet either
