I’m glad everyone is getting the prizes but it sucks that glu are only doing it if you contact them. People not on the forum or those not great at messaging will miss out, and most of us had to deal with a glitchy rubbish sys. It’s just really poor customer service that instead of addressing the whole issue and compensating all players, they are just secretly crediting the accounts who have the time/know how etc to contact them

Yes that's correct. I had just sent them the screenshot of my zero looks and said that I would've come fifth, so would either appreciate the dress or a free ticket for next week. I was averaging in the fifties for all my looks but had 4 ticket buyers so 5th was the best I could've gotten 🙄
@KalindaKing@eggsandbananas you need to get this done for EVERY player and Abner deserves a promotion. Customer service done right! When you screw up, you don't just do the bare minimum (which Glu didn't even do with the Femme Fatale SYS), you go above and beyond because your customers matter and the extra compensation is to make up for the poor experience they had, to show goodwill and appreciation for their business, and as a promise that you as a representative of the company, and the company itself, won't let your customers experience that issue again.
I seriously cannot believe what Glu is doing. I do think this is theft if people bought tickets and then didn't get the full votes. And for free players to be treated like dirt is really just as bad because we all pay via add revenue. It is heartwarming to see many dolls getting their rightful rewards but not everyone is on this forum or Facebook, there definitely will be people who don't know how to contact support or what even happened so it's really poor form to just give the rewards to people who know to contact them. Nothing short of gifting every player the TS and Earnable prizes is acceptable imo. We know Glu can do it, because they've done it with the SYS calls, the play apart together rewards, that one time we could earn 12 diamonds.
And my anger isn't about me being greedy and hoping to get 1st place prizes. I did get 1st with 14 tickets and a gigantic amount of luck that put me in a group with no crazy TBing action.
Since more dolls are getting the rewards I feel less guilty about posting mine. I am really happy to win 1st as a family member is obsessed with Frozen atm and I can't wait to show them the outfit and let them style it. If you see someone dressed as Elsa during the Hawain or Paris street style SYS, it's me 😂

Do y’all think it’s just the vagaries of fate that had this event end on a Sunday evening? No. Glu set up this event to run through the weekend when their employees can’t be reached and to end on Sunday evening when we would have hours upon hours to cool off and/or give up. I already see posts just accepting our fate We all KNOW how Glu will want to handle this. There will be silence. There will be half hearted comments about “glitches.” There will be admonishments for us to be “nice” to “Kalinda” and “Eggs” because it’s “not their fault.” Time and manners will allow this to dissipate once again. Until next weekend.

I also want want to say up front that nothing we say about Glu, Kalinda, or Eggs is “personal.” Kalinda is not the given name of a Glu employee. Eggs is not the given name of a Glu employee. “Kalinda” & “Eggs” are basically Glu’s version of “Siri.” It’s a name we use to ask questions or even to ask for help. However by creating the idea of a person between us and Glu, Glu counts on us developing feelings for the person and therefore to be polite and let Glu's flaws slide. I can no longer let affection for the people behind “Kalinda” and “Eggs” to blind me to the consistent abuse by Glu.

Also multiple people could have access to that forum account. We would have no idea and why would we trust Glu even if they said differently? They really are the Siri of Glu.

Oh, so If i didnt make sure to post my last look 2 hours before the end of the event so that I knew the votes would be in by then, I could have gotten the hair even though i would only make it to top 5? 🤡 If you’re doing it like that we should honestly all get the hair.
It’s nice that more people get the hair, but If they’re gonna go on and compensate users individually they should actually do it the correct way or compensate all of us. Even though i didnt lose a ticket or miss out on votes, I have still struggled with all the glitches in the game
I contacted support about an hour or so ago and I haven’t had a reply, but the 1st place prizes just got added to my game! I wasn’t expecting a reply so quickly because of so many people having issues and submitting support tickets, so to get a response so quickly surprised me. I want to give a shoutout to the people working on it right now 👏🏻 I know these problems shouldn’t have happened in the first place, and they definitely need to fix SYS immediately or stop it indefinitely while they fix all the glitches. It’s a shame that the only people being ‘rewarded’ right now are those who contact support and not every player who was affected, but we’ll see if they live up to their word on reaching out to all affected players.
I’m not sure how they are deciding yo give the prizes, but in my case I explained that I would have been first and I think they checked it before giving me the prizes (or am I wrong?)

This is really messed up. If I knew, I would have submitted my last tickets during the last hour and I would have gotten the hair after contacting support. How is that fair? I'm really happy about everyone getting the hair when they weren't supposed to but Glu should give the TS prizes to everyone !!! They're so not consistent....

I wish they’d either service the game during big events like SYS or change the event to days where someone is in the office to address big bugs like this one. It can’t just fall apart every weekend and kill everyone’s morale and then the responsibility falls to the user to pick up the pieces in a support ticket.
In game Glu Support (tickets we send from the game top left corner to support) is available on the weekends., it’s our personal Glu Gods like Kalinda and Eggs who aren’t as available on weekends.

It’s not unreasonable to expect people with a problem to contact support. Support is built right into the game. A lot of players experienced normal game behavior. If you toiled through the event, and experienced a problem, you should get your prizes. Imagine I just threw sweats on my dolls and played when I remembered. You want me to open my game and get the same rewards that you worked your fanny off and even bought a ticket for? Send a ticket to support. They want to help.

Its not fair for everyone to get it TBH- the girl in my game who entered one look deserves the same prizes someone who put all their tickets in and won fairly? I played all weekend I earned my prizes- I thankfully didnt have the glitch that everyone was talking about most of the weekend that the votes were slow... After Thursday my votes came normally with in one hour.... I think if you didnt get your votes contact support, get the prizes... But if you didn't play all weekend or scored poorly with your 14 looks why should they get a coveted prize... Thats not fair to the people who earned it. It just becomes a Kloset item that people actually worked hard for then everyone gets. Supoort is there for a reason and they seem to be helping everyone in a semi-timely fashion.... If anything @KalindaKing could put a call out that if your last tickets didnt get votes to please contact support- That way people not on social media pages or the forum are aware of it. NOt every player deserves the prizes. Just my 2 cents!

I buy The Triple Threat bundle every week, mostly for the diamonds and k-stars, so I have a lot of tickets stacked (I don’t tend to use them often). But omfg I decided to take on an extreme ticket buyer (I don’t know what the f*ck possessed me) and used all of my stacked tickets plus I had to purchase more. And although I placed 1st, I now feel pissed that the hair is being given to players that weren’t even on track to winning 1st place. If Glu is going to give players the hair regardless of if they were going to place 5th, then I want my tickets back or my money back. Simple.
Honestly I’m not throwing shade at anyone that has already been gifted prizes. I’m just f*cking fuming at how Glu have handled the situation AGAIN! At this point I’m just throwing money down the drain!

Just kidding, I'm glad things are being sorted out for everyone who's reaching out to CS. However, I still expect a long term solution, it's unacceptable to keep having this kind of issues week after week. It's bad enough that many of us have to deal with ticket buyers every week and now the uncertainty of thinking if votes are going to come through or not. My last look didn't get votes but I won't contact Glu since I would've still ended in fifth place. I just wish they could guarantee next events won't be as glitchy, we can't babysit the game all day to check if votes are coming through or not and if it's not something they can easily fix maybe we shouldn't have another SYS until it's working properly.
