Anyone work in the gaming/mobile industry? What is up with Glu being so disdainful and nearly hateful towards its customers? I’m really not much of a gamer so have nothing to compare it to. It is so hard to be a newish player and always scoring badly, picking badly, etc. I stopped spending money on the game after CS accused me of lying about what SYS level I’m in (Really? I proved it with SSs but was so offended by that) I feel like I enjoy the game less when I am spending, because (1) I get so little for my money and (2)feel like such a masochistic fool for paying for mistreatment. At least when it’s free, I’m less invested.
I’m in the interior design/real estate industry and I just can’t believe the callousness? Like the company won’t address obvious rigged boxes or scores. What would it cost to say, hey, we see a problem, we’re working on it. It would be so easy to curry good favor with players. Players would Trust the game and feel more comfortable spending…
EA just paid 2.1 billion for Glu, partly because of the female centric customer base. Why would they just squander away the good will and trust like it’s nothing?
Wondering if anyone in the industry can address? Curious to hear.
i don’t work in the industry but ruining games is kinda what EA is best known for. they’ve been voted worst company two years, i’ve never seen one positive thing said about them, their pay to play tactics have been so bad even disney had to say calm down. they’re losing money but not enough for them to change/:
I just googled, EA was voted the 5th most hated company in 2019 and first in 2012-13 so costumers have really never been a fan of them
Edit: After everything I’ve read I will not be spending more money on the game 😬 They really are known for being money greedy and these boxes have been talked about in other games too that they refuse to fix/get rid of so don’t have high expectations on them fixing things that brings in more money 😅
The update will more likely be released either later this week which I find weird since the spoilers will be shared mid-week so I’d say that is coming next week, Monday or Tuesday. Remember that Kalinda said “The 12.5 update will be released in early November and we’ll let you know when you can check the app store. The schedule for all the weekly events will stay the same” so yeah 95 percent sure is next week.

I talk to my partner about this game sometimes, especially rants recently about the glitches and the money-hunger we’ve seen - he’s much more into video games than I am, and when I told him that EA had bought Glu he was like “oh no… that makes so much sense” l m a o
Until we wait, what would be that ONE item that you wish you could buy on the black friday sale for K-stars?
For me it would be these wings because I hate the fact that you can only get wings in a diamond box or as a bundle for real money or as a 1st place trendsetter reward 🥲

@KalindaKing is there a known issue with connecting to Facebook right now? I suddenly can't after updating to ios 15.1 this morning
There are currently some technical issues and it’s not possible to connect Kim Kardashian: Hollywood to Facebook right now. We’re working closely with Facebook to get this resolved.
To save your progress, please connect to your Apple or Google account through in-game settings. To avoid losing progress, please don’t uninstall the app.
You can continue playing with your squad, collecting daily rewards and accessing other features in the meantime. We’ll let you know when you can connect to Facebook again!

I really like the outfit but it would be nice if the hair went behind the cape.
