I did that once before with a different rookie. In my experience, even if you trade the rookie away, the fact that you had him still counts towards the collection so yes you can still get him.
How does hitting tier 6 help you get gold though? Don't you have to spend more gold for energy refreshes and boosts to get there than you actually get back from the tier 6 reward?
1) Never get promoted until it auto-promotes you (You'll get auto-promoted if your total star rankings of all your players gets to 44 (making your team 2* avg),then again at 55(2.5 avg), 66, 77 etc. I'm not sure what level that stops at, eventually it'll take more to get auto-promoted) 2) Do this by locking all the players…
Don't know for sure but my guess is people quit playing them because everyone cheats. I don't have a great team, but I quit playing them myself when I entered a 50 gold league and a guy had 5* hitters and a legend on his team.
Even Dixon doesn't know the "Mr. Burns" hack. If you wrap your Iphone in duct tape, throw it out the window, pick it up, put it in the microwave for 17 seconds on 60% power, then open the app, your team will be: 1B - Don Mattingly 2B - Steve Sax SS - Ozzie Smith 3B - Wade Boggs RF - Daryl Strawberry CF - Ken Griffey Junior…
If you link your current team to an email then log out, it will start the game over for you. You'll have a new team and you can still get your old one by going to settings and logging in with that email you used.
Go to settings. Link your current team to an email account. Then log out. It'll start the game over as if you just installed it. That is your 2nd account. If you want back to your old team, go back to settings and use the email to sign in. If you want to go back to your 2nd, just log out and it's there.
My team: C - Mike Scioscia 1B - Don Mattingly 2B - Steve Sax 3B - Wade Boggs SS - Ozzie Smith LF - Jose Canseco CF - Ken Griffey Jr. RF - Darryl Strawberry P - Roger Clemens
This absolutely does happen. It's awful on auto-play because my pitchers always give up a bunch in the first inning and then the relievers automatically come in and then also get rocked because they get tired and have to keep pitching. I have noticed it as well, I never did the experiment but your results don't surprise…
I suppose that's one way to fix the problem. Get enough clubs to cheat horribly enough that it's no longer a guarantee of victory and most of them quit because it isn't worth it.
Yeah I'm even going against GOAT players for the 50K league. I can't even get Pedroia who could actually help me cuz I'm getting slaughtered by teams for whom he'd be by FAR their worst player and wouldn't even make the bench or come close.
Is there a time I could play that league where those teams wouldn't be in it? I actually could use Pedroia (and for that matter, probably whatever other 4.5 stars come after). I assume those teams have no use for him so why would they even play it other than during the club event, right?
I think I'll be ok. I never sandbagged getting promoted before which was a big mistake. I'm in Ace with a 4-star avg team. Most teams are a lot better so I don't think it'll be enough to move me up.
I'd like Hamilton. I'm on a club with a group of guys, we don't cheat or spend tons of money we just play for fun. We get some top 25s and top 10s here and there but never come close to winning anything big. I have a 4 and 4.5 star team basically, no primes, no legends, actually only one 5-star player even. I've had…
