While support does not have any information on why these types of decisions are made or when they may be implemented such changes are usually made to present a challenge to the players. Every Monday a Walk Off Hero Event with multiple difficulty levels is available. The Highest level is meant to be an extreme challenge for Diamond and Platinum level teams. I have gone ahead and took a look at your current roster and would suggest that you stick to the Warm Up level of Walk Off Hero.
We do value user feedback and we do present it to the development team for review and consideration. In the future they may add a level below Warm Up for teams like yours to be able to complete it.

Jack...I have been playing this game for years and here is a suggestion..
on the game itself long press and hold to delete the application, if you are on android, that platform is not supported in the update and won't be reissued until 2020, this was confirmed sadly. Go back to the app store and search for Kim Kardashian : Hollywood, download and install that and post your in game name here and Glu support can see that and perhaps give you the Beta of TSB-2020: Rise of the Canadians.
