Scorpion, the reason we don't remember GLU snafu's is, 1) there's just so many, and 2) we're optimist and if we didn't forget, we'd have long ago given up on this train wreck!

I still don't understand why they suspended global for Google Play (and not Amazon). It's weird they can continue PVP, and record VP levels, and other stats, but to load a update, they have to stop the event?
Game still choppy and scores are low. I had over 30 game aborts or resynchronizations yesterday, 5 of which ended a streak. Today so far, 2 resynchronizations, and 1 streak ending game abort.
Dare I ask: Any developments on the Android Global/upgrade front?
No changes whatsoever ... but I tried playing contracts, something I hate; there's a game restart after every contract. Something is definitely broken ... no word from GLU as usual and NOTHING will change before Monday afternoon because the GLUTONS don't believe in an IT work ethic. In my world, if you break something you don't go home until you fix it; its part of the job ... if you don't want to be on call 24/7 then go work in McDonalds because IT is definitely NOT for you.
I haven't even played for the diamonds yet; that should give you an idea how much I hate playing campaign contracts ... It's too slow for one reason, it's boring for another.

I guess then, I have been very fortunate for a change. I have had only 1 crash so far during this global, and for the most part, I have been extremely happy with the update. I am now able to play short range missions again and the vault size as you have reported are all up.

This is the ongoing pattern. In IT this is a very rare set of circumstances and the only one I recall in recent memory was ultimately traced to a combination of a vendor update and a unique hardware component.
You see, it is NOT possible for "This is my least fun day with this game ever" and "I have been extremely happy with the update" to co-exist in the same universe; consequently there will NEVER be anything at all that GLU can do to remedy this. We must get to the root cause, isolate it, and remedy it on our own; it's the only way.
On a side note, I recently had a PvP battle with a REAL player equipped with drone. When it happened, I thought there might be a glimmer of light but it was the only opponent of that nature that I've seen in over a week and haven't seen another since.

As you can see, not much has happened since this morning. Free credits will probably get me through the next 24 without much expense. My expense for three days of this GLobal has been $60.
Miserable playing conditions again today. I started the day with restart, a second restart, a streak killing resynchronization, a third restart and a reboot. Video continues to be marginal. Scores look to be well less than half of last weeks scores at all levels. I am hoping to play as little as possible today.

This is really weird. They have failed to start League play several times and have ended the Leagues early by not starting a day of League play, but this is the first time they have ever just ended any PVP competition in mid-stream.
I don't know what it means, but it can't be a good sign.
I am now back in boycott mode, no more buy-ins until this gets fixed. (Which looks to take some time, maybe it will never happen)

Agreed ... this would appear to be a major S.N.A.F.U. but then again it could just be a single server gone rogue ... only GLU knows OR doesn't know as it would mostly be the case.

In spite of everything that has gone wrong with CKS, I have managed to upgrade my base to 2.72M, collect some drone fuses and reduce my drone weapons parts to 10,470 (349 pages). All in all, not a bad weekend.
I'm not expecting any League Events this week since the timing isn't there, so we're looking at the next Global Event before any semblance of normalcy will return to Google Android.

Well folks I'm in the BRONZE LEAGUE competing for 3 x TIER 7 FUSES (RANKS #1-#3) and 50 GOLD MILESTONES. I can't say I don't need the fuses, but they are pretty small and only three of them ... it may not be worth the effort, we shall see.
Nothing else has changed, there isn't even an update posted on Google Play. One can hope that the great experiment performed on my IOS guinea pig friends, is all that it actually was (an experiment) and that they will roll back the update for Applezoids and cancel the update for Androidians.
One can only hope ... SMH
I also find it strange that there are only 8 players in my bracket. Could be that many didn't make the 12 hour cut-off in the Global and consequently did not qualify for league play ... Hmmm

Well, you've confirmed one thing about Bronze prizes beign either fuses or weapon parts. Tier level has nothing to do with it.
I would then guess that a certain AP/VP below the silver milestone in global might be the answer. Will never know I guess.
Both my players are in the same Silver League event now working for the final 15 parts.
I sort of suspected that BL placement was based on AP scored in Global. My total AP was only 227 so that may explain why I'm playing for fuses. Had my score been 2,270 I might have been playing for weapons parts, which would have been completely useless being that there was no Global (to speak of since it only lasted 12 hours).
It could just be a random, luck of the draw, every other player type thing. We'll never know because GLU doesn't know for sure; a reasonably simple question right? If they knew they would have answered this long ago.
I also see that as of 10:03 AM EST this is the ONLY post of the day ... I think the players have had enough and I can't blame them for that.

This is way off topic ... Does anyone have any experience with any of the credit card "PAY" apps that vendors are promoting? I don't mind using my phone as a boarding pass but paying for a purchase just seems "lazy" to me. Is there any benefit to using this app as opposed to using the actual credit card?

I finished 34th in Gold League with 10788 AP, and received 35 parts to the Mahjong, 15.5, 3.07M/5.03M Heavy.
Gold League is playing for parts for the Samsara, yet another 15.5 Heavy, 3.69M/5.64M. Who cares!
I ended up finishing 89th and also received the 35 parts to the Mahjong, 15.5, 3.07M/5.03M Heavy. Now, it will take at least 3 top 11-20 finishes to get the last 15 parts. It will replace my BATTERING RAM ELITE, 14.5, 1.84M/2.82M. Going for the 100 gold each day should get me the needed parts for craft the HEAVY.
90th place on ended up being a dog fight at the last min. With 3 minutes to go, I was ranked 64th. With 1 1/2 minutes to go, I was ranked 70th, I started looking for a battle and finished the battle in 85th place with only 15 seconds left.
1st tier VIP weapons are nothing to get excited about top prize 15.5 NINJA Sniper 2.05M, 750 gold will get you a 12.5 WYVERN 307.2K and 350 gold will get you a 11.5 TROMBONE Sniper 174.08K.
I haven't seen the Super VIP weapons and may not this VIP. Nobody is thinking about a buy in with the game in its current state. I am only playing free energy during League play for the first time in months.

Usually I will see 2-12 place with the same score, so it is the luck of the draw to finish in 10th place for the 10 weapons parts, let alone, in 2-3 for 16 weapon parts.
Right now, with 10 hours gone in my Silver bracket, the leaderboard looks as follows:

So it is shaping up for another potential wild finish for 10th place, LOL.

Of course we're playing for the win and they really don't stand a chance, but I won't use any GOLD (doesn't make much sense anyway) to acquire 3 TIER 7 fuses. LOL
