The Super VIP is revealed AFTER you spend 5,000 GOLD. There are definitely 22.5 weapons up there so I'm not sure what BRAD is looking for since it doesn't get any better than that

If I'm going to participate in VIP it won't be for a weapon I could win in the Global, that's for sure. But there are never any guarantees ... a 22.5 ASSAULT might get my attention though

For close to a year Sir Brad has provided us with an insight, from a POV that would have been impossible for most of us ... for that I am extremely grateful and appreciative. But the rules of engagement have changed for our comrade now; we can no longer "expect" that type of free flowing information because our brother now has a "bullseye" tattooed on his rear external pressures are present.

I am not sure if I want to re-open the can of worms about the ending time of the Global event, but it looks like GLU got their act together and the Android/Amazon platform now ends at 11:00 PM PST, too.

LMAO point of view is a wonderful thing isn't it ... basically, the iOS server(s) are not setup properly for Daylight Saving Time since your time never changes. So for 6 months we are ALL on the same page ... at least until October
It's confirmed ... I know the cause and it doesn't bother me anymore. Just shows how much of a stickler for detail I am and why the GLUTONS DRIVE ME MAD since they are the exact opposite !!!

I think when the new millennium comes, and computers have to figure how to handle the year 2000, that the GLU servers will start to have serious problems with connections, people loosing their PVP matches through crashes, and bugs that will cause prizes and fuses to no longer have any real tangible value! This will be a true programmer's nightmare that we may end up in!
Heed my words, GLU! At least, Windows NT is coming out with Service Pack 6 to fix all this, what does Apple or Unix have, huh?
Side post, on Amazon, there is a guy that can't stand for anyone to attack him, and constantly challenges the attacker. Just noticed he has a 48.1M drone, and one of my clan members was amazed by the MG fire that seemed endless coming from his drone. He can't wait to get one. His is 10.7M now, so many miles to go...

ROTF-LMFAO ... the irony here is that they may have FINALLY noticed and fixed the "clocks" in preparation for DST which occurs tomorrow when we lose OR gain an hour ... I was never sure why lose / gain was ever used to describe this event, since again it's all about POV and perspective. I really don't care though ... everyone's game clock should move forward an hour.
Now here's the catch ...
We will "GAIN" an hour of sunshine, but we will "LOSE" an hour of gameplay. POV is a b.i.t.c.h.
... no right or wrong, just different perspectives of the same event. LOL Now technically speaking, the standard time for this event to occur is Sunday @ 02:00 AM. Many of us "should" be asleep, so I won't be conscious to take note.
The moral is when you're arguing with someone about seemingly the same thing over and over again, step back because you may be describing the same event ... just from different perspectives.

Wow, throwing a grenade at a drone - don't remember doing that except back when 2.0 came out! And back then, drones where a serious threat to your health. Trying to line up a shot with them hovering between two attack locations was a real pain.
Does one ever get close to the present drone to do this? I know junior had a heck of a time when opponents were "invincible" and it was hard to maintain a targeting range at the boss, much less the drone.

Sure you can get close enough ... there are at least two (maybe three) SR scenarios where I'll take the drone out with a grenade as soon as he appears along with the spook. Give it a try ... it's another of those "time saving" tactics and with so many d.a.m.n grenades (thank you Clan Wars) it doesn't cost a cent.
This is the true value of target practice ... I love to throw grenades :cool: I've "practiced" almost every tactic there is; as a matter of fact the current Global/League Events are perfect for target practice.
The trick is to tap the right target since drones and spooks are in such close proximity ... but the drone is so "soft" that even if the grenade detonates on the spook, many times it's still enough to take out the drone.

The 19.5 BETELGEUSE @ 100% was at parity with the 20.5 CUTTLEFISH @ 50%. Once I brought the CUTTLEFISH up to the "primetime" threshold of 60%, my vault payouts have flattened out. I still cannot seem to get past that 1.07M ceiling though.
I am now seriously considering the 21.5 CORSAC just for the vaults. The question is go for the cruise mode 20 PARTS or put in a little effort to grab 35 PARTS?

Upgrade costs for 22.x weapons for the first three levels: 19.95M, 27.93M and 37.91M. Not too bad considering that vaults are running near 1M.
You're right ... those upgrade costs are modest considering The greatest news of all is you can get a 22.5 weapon to 60% power using a TIER 20 vault capacity.
Is there anyone else out there that sees BASE UPGRADES as a total waste? Come on guys, surely I'm not the only one who sees this. I'll concede that moving past TIER 22 will require upgrades, so we need to consider the long term consequences.
I think the only real casualty is the HEAVY WEAPON. No more HEAVIES (can't afford the upgrades).

You will love this: Last night in CW I get defeated by a player with NO Tesla or Heavy and a 32K (that's right 32K) Drone. He did have 20.0 Sniper, 91M and Assault, 94M. I have a maxxed out Tier 21 base and a 18M Drone, and I get taken to the cleaners by a guy with a 94M attack. I hope he used a lot of Medkits, that would make me feel a little better.
Now I now how Goliath felt when he got taken out by some kid with a slingshot.
