Run amok doesn't begin to describe THIS mess. They've literally taken over the first 200 RANKS and although I cannot see who they actually are, the statistics suggest that they are there ... taking up space, breathing my air ... if I wasn't so hard up for grenades, I'd toss a few at them LMAO

I wish I had the time, but playing my 9 free energy takes a little over half an hour. The Tier 13 game takes less that 5 minutes for the 3 kills. The Tier 7 game can take more than 15 minutes without a heavy or tesla, and if I don't get a bot that's equal to my weapon power, it can be a bullet proof player - I haven't figured out how's that possible. The guys with crafted weapons have much higher health, there's also tier 7 guys with level 120 and x7 weapons. That shouldn't be possible. The tier 4 MIRN game I'm in should win outright my 3rd weapon this weekend, right now in 16th place.
Anyway, if you or others are ready for a nicker;

The thing that always amazed my about Amazon was that the top 3 to 5 players were roughly the same as IOS, but after that interest, and scores, dropped sharply. The Amazon field is not very deep, free play gets you into the Top 30.

On IOS only a few Tier 14s all low Vaults. Kind of a drag, because I spend money moving on to the next juicy vault. Average Vault has dropped to 64.1 K because of expenses. None of the IOS leaders are upgrading, all still working drone upgrades.

Of course this is your choice but playing 3 identical games sort of takes repetitive and tedious to a whole new level ... I don't know how you do it ... It's all I can think of just staying interested in this game.

The dedication has to go back to guys like you and Bradr - to put cash into this game means you have to play the gold. Although super weapons means that you have very short PVPs and you've found the VIP solution, it still takes the kind of effort and strategy I'm not up for. I've typically have the needed mindless time, so 2 new weapons in 3 different games works. The second game may have to go since it has been unproductive for so long.
Tier 7, low payouts with no new free weapons sucks. MIRN, I'm all time top 16, and 15th in event. CKS Tier 13, is just on auto cruise, 32 all-time.

Hey Man ... you sound worm out and frustrated; I've been there believe me. Find the game that you actually enjoy and chuck the other two ... just a suggestion **SMILES**
When you refer to dedication, BRAD and I use the same strategy but have vastly different approaches to the game. I am on permanent cruise control and play for 40-50 victories a day (BRAD will easily double that), just enough to get my milestone GOLD and that's it. I've never played less and enjoyed myself more. I rarely win more than 15-20 parts and could care less.
Ironically, when I am performing statistics sampling, I play harder because I'm trying to be precise with my results. It's sort of funny when you think about it; I play hardest when I'm trying to help other players get the most they can from a bad situation.

You just couldn't wait for the VIP could ya? LOL I understand ... just kidding. You know whenever you make a statement that I don't fully appreciate at the time because my CPU is loaded, a thread or "core" is activated in my mind and continues until a completion light starts flashing.
This is in reference to lost league day on IOS. The "offline" PvP that's available actually pays out better than the Global or the League Events. Actually, the only difference is the milestone GOLD so when an event is cancelled we lose absolutely nothing at all. Even your leaderboard VP totals are incremented. Next time when an event is cancelled by GLU ... don't despair ... rejoice LOL.
Our new strategy even insulates us from GLU screw ups. Our only vulnerability, as I see it, is if they cancel a VIP Event on the wrong day, in the wrong week of the month.

Apparently MIRN was NOT to their liking so the wild bunch returned to Google Android CKS late yesterday. I was ahead of my game plan schedule so I had decided to stop playing early, When I awakened this morning I said, oh hell there goes the neighborhood.
A quick re-crunch of the numbers revealed that I would need to score 8,000+ AP just to win 20 PARTS, so I threw the game plan out the window and moved over to PLAN B; needless to say a pair of 14.5 short range weapons are safely stowed in the locker ... I can now return to the diamond chase and continue my drone development.
With just over 36 hours remaining, here are the IOS standings:

My take is they simply don't need them or at least they do not feel the cost is worth the benefit. For me I'll take this ride for as long as I can; what else am I going to spend my diamonds on.
I'm willing to bet that all these "top scorers" have vaults full of diamonds bursting at the seams.

I've experienced this twice today so far. When I attempt to change to update my drone, base or even enter the store, the game freezes and I have to manually exit the game and restart.
It occurs immediately following that POP UP AD BANNER showing the weapon du jour ...

With One Day Five hours left to go I wanted to give some insight into where the leaders on IOS are concentrating their upgrades:

As you can see, everybody has moved to Tier 14. Drone still moderate but moving up. For me, only the Janslm approach seems misguided.
Full disclosure: I have become the clan leader for the Elites Clan, which is the number #1 clan on IOS. DG1923, AUSAUSA and HARLEY2015 are members of my Clan, and I would never criticize their approaches to the game.
I may need to tweak TOOBAD for I have uncovered a minor flaw in the way I'm using it. I've long upgraded the TESLA weapon usually on a bi-monthly basis. That sort of carried over to TOOBAD in the sense that I wanted to now upgrade ALL weapons on a bi-monthly basis (except SNIPERS) and spend that 3rd month upgrading (thus the 90 day plan). That might be a bit too ambitious for the following reason.
Whilst the current cycle is unaffected (I'm winning battles at my usual pace), the next cycle puts me at par with the prevailing weapons and a half-step below the prevailing base. This is not new territory for me, but it WILL have a devastating effect on diamond intake which will then propagate throughout the upgrading process. I noticed with TIER 14 that diamond intake via PvP has slipped somewhat.
I may need to shorten TOOBAD to 60 Days. This is still far better than the old monthly grind of competing for weapons parts ... no sense trading one treadmill for another right? LOL
Another option might be to compete for the HEAVY every other month and grab the VIP HEAVY on the off months ... Hmmm? Nah too time consuming !!!
I always assumed I would need to make adjustments since we haven't experienced the full cycle as yet, so I think this change will make it air tight.
Anyways I want your input on this ... so I await your reply.
BTW the drone feature is misbehaving again SMH. Every time I try to access it to perform an upgrade, the game freezes. I've tracked this before and it seems to be related to that weekend special pop up advertisement. I told GLU about this eons ago ... what the hell.
I guess I'll have to go back to BASE upgrades, hell at 98K LITTLE ME is a deadly killer anyway.

When you refer to dedication, BRAD and I use the same strategy but have vastly different approaches to the game. I am on permanent cruise control and play for 40-50 victories a day (BRAD will easily double that), just enough to get my milestone GOLD and that's it. I've never played less and enjoyed myself more. I rarely win more than 15-20 parts and could care less.
Ironically, when I am performing statistics sampling, I play harder because I'm trying to be precise with my results. It's sort of funny when you think about it; I play hardest when I'm trying to help other players get the most they can from a bad situation.

You just couldn't wait for the VIP could ya? LOL I understand ... just kidding. You know whenever you make a statement that I don't fully appreciate at the time because my CPU is loaded, a thread or "core" is activated in my mind and continues until a completion light starts flashing.
This is in reference to lost league day on IOS. The "offline" PvP that's available actually pays out better than the Global or the League Events. Actually, the only difference is the milestone GOLD so when an event is cancelled we lose absolutely nothing at all. Even your leaderboard VP totals are incremented. Next time when an event is cancelled by GLU ... don't despair ... rejoice LOL.
Our new strategy even insulates us from GLU screw ups. Our only vulnerability, as I see it, is if they cancel a VIP Event on the wrong day, in the wrong week of the month.

The TOP 9 are spooks, serpents, low lives. The remaining of the TOP 30 are pretty much evenly divided, so the cheats maintain a 2/3 majority. I am rooting for the others, but the task at hand might be just out of their reach.

So how is the 410K drone performing on the field of battle? I've noticed that the top legitimate players on Google stopped drone development once they hit 51K ... What do you make of this?
My take is they simply don't need them or at least they do not feel the cost is worth the benefit. For me I'll take this ride for as long as I can; what else am I going to spend my diamonds on.
I'm willing to bet that all these "top scorers" have vaults full of diamonds bursting at the seams.
It occurs immediately following that POP UP AD BANNER showing the weapon du jour ...
Anyone else experience this behavior?
I am impressed with the 410K set up, though it is not as devastating as the ratings would suggest. At first I was disappointed but once I slowed down and let the Drone go to work, the Tier 14, 1.47 M Short contests got a lot easier.
Based on my current experience, I am going to work on Base Economy for Tier 14 and then go for 510 K on the Drone. I would stick with Drone upgrade, but I am sick of fusing 4Xp modules. I am hoping to acquire some bigger value modules in League play.
I am clear in my own mind that Drone upgrade is second in importance only to Tesla and Heavy upgrades and most of the big guys on IOS are doing just that. Also, Drone weapons upgrade seems like a waste of time. When I get 510 K accessories, I will upgrade but not before.

As you can see, everybody has moved to Tier 14. Drone still moderate but moving up. For me, only the Janslm approach seems misguided.

Whilst the current cycle is unaffected (I'm winning battles at my usual pace), the next cycle puts me at par with the prevailing weapons and a half-step below the prevailing base. This is not new territory for me, but it WILL have a devastating effect on diamond intake which will then propagate throughout the upgrading process. I noticed with TIER 14 that diamond intake via PvP has slipped somewhat.
I may need to shorten TOOBAD to 60 Days. This is still far better than the old monthly grind of competing for weapons parts ... no sense trading one treadmill for another right? LOL
Another option might be to compete for the HEAVY every other month and grab the VIP HEAVY on the off months ... Hmmm? Nah too time consuming !!!
I always assumed I would need to make adjustments since we haven't experienced the full cycle as yet, so I think this change will make it air tight.
Anyways I want your input on this ... so I await your reply.
BTW the drone feature is misbehaving again SMH. Every time I try to access it to perform an upgrade, the game freezes. I've tracked this before and it seems to be related to that weekend special pop up advertisement. I told GLU about this eons ago ... what the hell.
I guess I'll have to go back to BASE upgrades, hell at 98K LITTLE ME is a deadly killer anyway.
