Interesting...when I was looking at the Android leaderboard it suddenly went crazy. It showed lots of duplicate placings, one with a silly number and one that seemed reasonable. Gluadmin seems to have removed blatant cheats (yay!!) from the total kills. I'm on 72779 on Android...no club hunts but still lots of fun.

Whatever you do it gets boring eventually, so maybe try for a change of pace. Use one of the bows, then many of the bears, hyenas, lions, wolves etc (at the right level) are on for that neck shot. Because of the 'suppression' you get the time to wait for a good shot. I found it a nice change from the running animals.

It works just fine in Region 10. The animals need a double hit or head/heart/lung shots. Given the unhurried reloading speed of our hunter, it's best to let attacking wolves and bears get REALLY close so the heart/lungs are highlighted...but don't miss :-) It seems a little more powerful that its specs suggest.

Have you checked that you are running the latest updated version. Sometimes the updates are not automatic, you need to download manually. It's worth a look, that's what I had to do.

The Huntsman upgrades to 99.2 stability. Ammo, stock, barrel and so on will all (sometimes) add stability. Max the thing out and happy hunting :-)

Had the same issue (on Android) and find it annoying. Especially as all the weapons (even bows) look the same through the add on sights. I've kept the region 10 Plisskin Fang pistol with open sight...they're not too bad...and it's fun. I'd love to get the Headsman Elite back to open sights and a rifle...So, I'm with Timber…

I'm hoping to get another chance at the Headsman Elite. Missed out (no gold) the first time, but even the Headsman is a fun shotgun at the lower levels. Well done again Glu. The game just keeps getting better. Just don't make the weapons look too stupid...thinking Pilgrim, Snow Plough etc...It puts me off buying them.

I use it on the region 9 jackals all the time...actually adds a bit of excitement to the whole thing. But, you need to let them get close, and then hit them directly. Time your shots, hit them dead on...they go down.

It is kinda fun using the Pachyderm in Region 6. Everything is in range. Region 7 hyenas will take 2 hits just standing there...and then they'll attack...4 of them can get a little busy. Still better than moose.

The Pachyderm doesn't seem to have the knockdown you'd expect for the power it's supposed to have, even maxxed out. Region 9 jackals and gazelle are still wearing kevlar and usually take a couple of shots to nail. Elephant and Rhinos are easier, but you have less range than the Barricade. Exactly. Also you only get one shot for your two energy bars. I'd rather shoot quail and gazelle and eland (but not moose...I'm seriously overdosed on moose) and have a bit of fun.

It's easier than you think. Shoot one wolf (actually you could just shoot a tree...but might as well take the wolf) with a brain shot. Swap to your shotgun and wait. The remaining wolves will attack you, and as they jump you will get your chance at a brain shot.

It's a very playable game without spending money, although the temptation arises sometimes. As WmC points out, patience is the key; that and being VERY reluctant to spend gold coins...they are very slow to accumulate into useful quantities, use them only for weapons you need to continue.

Try the bolt action rifle and an energy drink. You may need to play it a few times to get the moose close together. Infrared the first one, turn it off before you fire and then aim 'freehand' for the lungs on the other two. The infrared just confuses things.
