I just got to the Kendall storyline where I will have to bid for this dress: 

Does anyone know how much you end up having to pay for it? If the price is worth it, I might wait for the next VIP...

I believe it ends up being 110 Stars.  It was a lot at the time, but I wanted it.  That’s why I think I remember 110.

Oh it’s tough and pretty all at the same time 😍 But how do we know when a story is part of the main storyline or kind of a generic gig? Is there a list of main story gigs? I have no idea how much I have left! Help me out, I’m clueless 🙂

A generic gig is one Simon calls you for and offers you a choice of 3 I believe.  We call those Side GIgs.   If you don't like them, he says he'll call you back with some more in an hour. 

The Storyline gigs that move your process along can unfold in any number of ways.  A KarJenner might call you and tell you you're needed, it could be maria, a director or designer you know.  A high percentage of Storyline gigs are 8 hours.  And when it's done if you get a call about a related gig in another 8 hours, that's Storyline for sure. 

Unfortunately, I know of no detailed list, but.........in the Update annoucement, they usually outline the storyline.  ie:   You'll film another installment of TOC in this update.   It would be a tedious undertaking, but if someone wanted to compile one that would be awesome. 

And the 6 hours are basically event gigs, but you knew that.

Oh, and your storyline and event gigs will appear as goals on the bottom

Goals/Achievements/LuxeGoals/Partnerships  menu.   The side gigs don't.

See the gig in Montana on the side menu?  It is not in the goals on the bottom menu.That was a Side Gig Simon called about and got to choose from 3.  It's a stand alone generic as you called it.

@katiealexandraa Yes, it’s 110 KStars. I just did the gig with Jon’s game during VIP event on the weekend. Be prepared, you will have to pay for the dress during that gig named “Get That Look” at the Cafe in Vienna. 

I like the leather coat from this task for guys 💖

Thank you so much @kokokokonut & @AngelineJ. I think I'm going to save the event and do it during the VIP... I'm a sucker for exclusive clothing & I quite like the dress... Just wish it wasn't so expensive!

@Rikk What I do every once in a while is google the name of a storyline gig I get—such as this one: "Kendall Soiree"—with "kkh". Sometimes questions about the gig, or people discussing the gig in this forum, come up and you can see when the gig was released (roughly). I was able to learn that the "Kendall Soiree" gig leads to the one where you get the dress, and that a lot of people were talking about it in January 2017, so I'm guessing it was a new gig in January 2017 or just before.

Events don't all come in order, though. I get events from all different months and years at once.

My last post was removed because I put a link and a picture, but to make it more vague:
this is kinda what I do!! I google “kkh (name of gig)” and along with finding helpful posts here, I found another website where it’ll tell you info about that gig and can show you what gig you will get a call for next when you finish it. You can look through specific storylines to see how many gigs they are and how close you are to being done with that specific storyline. I don’t think it’s been updated in a long time though so recent storylines aren’t on there and there’s some holes, but it was super helpful when I had 30+ gigs

I believe Glu took the icons off so cheaters cant predict what we can get in wich event during the update!

Looking forward to seeing what goodies are in store for us with this update. Like others have said some sparkly stuff for valentines would be good. Am not really sure what I'd like from this update. I usually think of things then when I come here to say it, I've forgotten it. Really should write things down. Definitely some reminder of some sort for businesses would be really useful.
