Like most others said, this was the first event in a while where I really wanted the items. I'm grinding my way to the long flower crown hair, and I'm so sad I was working and missed the Napa glitch! I'm glad they shortened the date times though, and I'm so glad my partner finally gave me the earrings!
Only thing I'm kicking myself over is I did NOT want to spend money on Kstars...but then couldn't resist the temptation of trying again and again at the gift boxes. I just wanted the dress and REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted those adorable heart earrings, but I didn't get either of them. ��
I'm really doubting that I'm gonna finish the event on my new game. I had no Internet connection last night, but my WiFi decided to work again.

I've looked around the forum and it seems that the Kstars are only paid out the first time you reach the top spot. I guess I must have reached #1 before, I just can't remember when??!
Oh well, at least I managed to get all the gifts from the lovers achievement. The plum coloured dress is cute, I love wearing peplum dresses and tops irl

For Valentines Weekend I have stayed with my husband a lot in Miami in our home, but I have made quick trips to Vegas, Napa Valley, and Oak for v day dates. He did give me the earrings last week, but I have yet to have him pay for a date yet. Wondering if my game has a glitch or if my man is just hella cheap. Would be cute to have him surprise me paying for a date today, but I don't think that'll happen.

I went on soooo many dates today and my husband was paying for a date approx. every forth time. Once he paid twice in a row. You may have a glitch? Are you playing on android? I think there's a thread in FAQ and Support - you could post your issue there. Hope you get it sorted soon.

I'm have mixed feelings about the valentines day event. I love all of the earnables, however I am disappointed that there were no tappables for this holiday theme. I'm also irritated that there wasn't an extra gig to complete for this week dating event. I was really looking forward to earn bonus event points.
It went by smoothly for me to complete the event on my first game since I won a giftbox item. On my second game, I had bad luck with my giftbox and I didn't win anything special inside of my freebie box. But it was definitely a challenge to finish the event on my tablet, since my WiFi wasn't working twice in one night and I thought that I wasn't gonna complete the event on time.
On a good note, I completed the event on both of my games. Now I can finally rest. Yes!

Whew! Eleven minutes until the event is over, and I finally got the dress. I didn't think I was going to finish, but thanks to 4hr dates at Oak, I'm done and nearly broke lol. I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day, and congrats to everyone who finished this event. It's the first weekend in a long time that I finished. But...what was the deal with that Misty storyline???

They weren't like Christmas tapables which are everywhere, but I had them at Oak and Lif, so when I did my dates and did my weekend events there were bears, candy, and banners to click. So instead of like one bottle of wine there were about 4 things.

Actually, I have to agree; it took forever until my husband paid for a date, and we went out constantly. Eventually he paid altogether for four--unfortunately twice was at Asadaux, one of which was 8 hours and cost ZERO, and another 8hr hell date there that cost only $75. He also "paid" at Napa Valley, 8hrs--cost: ZERO; and once at Oak, another 8hr mess, but over much quicker because of all the "fancy dinners" and wine. I also feel it takes much too long to make achievements now, although after this weekend I "Achieved" becoming a certified wino, leveled up Glamorati and Lovers--getting the gifts of the gold, sparkly ring and pink shoes. Love 8, Parenting 7--the weekend maxed out my relationship, giving me a 2nd baby. So now I have a New Year's daughter and a Valentine's Day son. Nice having babies one month apart, and not having to go through being pregnant. Yassss. I leveled up Big Spender, and Bundle of Style from 5 to 6 1/2. Thisclose to leveling up to 34, which should have happened already. The only other time I played this incessantly was the New Year's event because I wanted the last earnable, the dress. We moved from Couple 30 to 16, which I couldn't care less about; I hate the dating events and prefer gigs. I ended up with seven in my queue, finished one this morning and halfway through the next. Now Simon added yet another one, but that's fine with me. Playing obsessively this weekend was *not* fun; 8hr dates got so incredibly few event points and that was *not* cool. Leveling up was "refused," though absolutely should've happened, and also I ended up with that last earnable ugly, weird dress, which I wore once after receiving it, for an unnecessary last date because I wanted to figure out *some way* to style it. I got a really good look and my doll will never, ever wear that thing again; it's now a dust rag for the nanny. Ha. I spent over $80,000 kash on dates and $20,000 on clothes for the new baby. Around 80 k-stars on a necklace and bracelet I had wanted, and 110 stars on more new baby things. I almost wished I'd taken advantage of the k-star sale, but stand firm with my decision because I didn't have the event until several hours late; lots of people got a ST of stars and earnables in a snap, as well as the final SO Lovers dress gift. One really amazing thing was that in the middle of dinner at Asadaux, when my husband asked about a second baby, and I said yes, the screen blanked out for a second and suddenly we were seated at the dining table in a fully decorated Napa Valley and it said Home. Now *that* was very cool and made me pretty happy. Unfortunately, in the middle of brunch at Oak I suddenly found myself standing out on the street, alone, no event points, no star, and when I went back in after getting kicked out my husband was gone and the date had vanished. Weird. Anyway, I only wanted the shoes and hair, they took 500 years to get with such a measly number of cupcakes, I only further continued playing only to NOT level up, and of course got the ugh dress. My Level bar was about 65% when this all started; after most of Friday and all of Saturday and Sunday play it should've turned over. Oh. And my boyfriend was pretty ticked off and kept trying to grab my phone a lot of the weekend. I don't blame him. Does this all belong in this thread? Maybe half of it, but I use the mobile app and browser so...no copying and pasting elsewhere for me. I don't write so much here often, but when I do, well...I do. Sorry, I'm a writer. Hey! Actually, I have to agree; it took forever until my husband paid for a date, and we went out constantly. Eventually he paid altogether for four--unfortunately twice was at Asadaux, one of which was 8 hours and cost ZERO, and another 8hr hell date there that cost only $75.
