Yes, but owning the Ski Resort is better than say, the Winery in Cape Town. Because with the Ski Resort at least you will increase your payout (5 stars/$7500) over a period of time when you make the right decisions. As the winery's payout is pitiful. I'm assuming @Zzzelena you also got the minimum payout too?

As for making the right decisions for the Ski Resort, we've had:
3hr Ski Wear Show
3hr Orientation Event
Hire snow machine
Pay for guests’ dinners
Expand snowboard park
Escort unwanted guest aka Willow

I choose Hire Maestro Sly for my firrst decision instead of Hire Snow Machine. Ended up with the same results & final payout as you @ladykrystal. ?
Haven’t had to do any 3hr gig as yet so they should be coming up for me.

I think once you get facilities, branding and customer service to world renowned or world class that’s when you will get the max payout I’m assuming. I’d say give it about a month and you’ll be receiving the max payout @Zzzelena

@klena did you get a call from Liam today? I had to do a 3 hr top ski resort shoot which increased my branding (which has now gone up to “very good” compared to average”)

It’s actually like the storyline where you go to meet the npc you hired. You chose the ingredients & container which cost you in energy bolts & kash. The more you pay/invest, the better your return. Then you have a choice of 3hr ad, commercial or party(I think not sure about the last option).

Cost of buying is on fact sheet on F&Q page but quoted below: Lisbon Perfumery Cost: 60 k-stars Job: 3 hour magazine ad, commercial or launch event. Furnishing Cost: 13,750 kash and 30 k-stars. Plus additional kash for the main ingredient in perfume and type of bottle. Payout: 2 k-stars and 12,500 kash. Increased payout: 3 k-stars and 12,500 kash when fully furnished. Note: if you buy the home and the perfumery, you get a table in the house for your perfume bottle.

@ladykrystal, just got my call from Liam today. As an aside, I wish there’s a feature in game where you could chose what time business calls come in. Instead of waiting for it especially if you miss the chance to take it at the earlier time which cause the next call to come in later. Oh well.

So far I've a received a call to expand the slopes, another was a situation where a site wasn't making enough profit so I had the choice to either shut it down or let it stay as some visitors loved it, an orientation event, Metropolitan's feature among the top ski resorts, and to turn on the snow machines.
Orientation resulted an increase in customer service, the magazine feature improved my brand and the rest contributed to the facilities, which are now rated very good!
I believe once we reach a level up in all three areas at the same time, e.g; good customer service, facilities and branding, our payout will increase. And it starts from average, goes up to above average, to good, to very good, to excellent, and finally world class.
