It ended for me right on schedule Edit: It was advertised in the app but I only got the pop-up once or twice during the entire weekend and I usually close those out as soon as they pop-up, would have been easy to miss. Think it started sometime Friday and ended Monday at 5PM Pacific

I've gotten the last 3. Xander cost ~12k, Donaldson cost ~14K and Arrieta ~20k. Although it would be incredibly easy to figure out, I don't even want to know how many videos I had to watch to get all 3 :(

Will these forums still be readable? There is some good strategy advice on here and it would be a shame to lose it all. If the plans are to delete everything it would be nice to know so I can save some of the good posts

One night I opened probably 50 boxes and didn't get anything useful. I like this idea. I hate seeing that one of my players has X number or HR's or RBI's then remember they've been involved in a thousand games so the stat doesn't mean as much

So if you win enough gold HR battles you get banned from playing more of them? Are you banned from anything else because of it or only HR derbys?

I traded for McCutchen and got him on the 3rd negotiation I think it took like 1 day and 8 hours for each negotiation. If the negotiation falls through, you don't lose the players or anything, so there is no risk. You can spend gold to complete the negotiation instantly if you choose to but I did not. I'd only spend gold…

That's fair, I suppose I should have said "honest and cheap players". Still, what tier do you have to get to where the majority of your opponents have legends/are too tough for someone who can't afford to spend money on the game?

I also started thinking it was impossible to pick the gold but finally a couple days ago I got lucky and hit gold for the first time. It was for 500 gold which was pretty sweet. I guess I'm about 1/40 for hitting gold at this point

Bad news update - on my 2nd reset I made it about 15 videos again, thought things were back to normal despite 15 videos per reset being less than I remember, but it was enough to make me happy. On my 3rd reset I made it 2 videos and now I'm getting the same error where I try to play the video and nothing happens

Seems to be working ok for me today so far, despite not having any luck the last 2 days. I watched about 15 videos just now before I had to reset my advertising ID. Now I'm about 5 videos into the new ID with no problems yet, will update if anything changes for the worse. I am using a Galaxy S3 (don't laugh :) )

Having the same issue. It shows that I have a video available to watch, I click it, it looks like the video is about to play, but then it goes back to the "watch a video get free gold" screen I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a temporary glitch though. Surely Glu gets paid a tiny amount (fraction of a penny) for each…

Did something change with this? I only started doing this about a week ago when I saw this thread but I used to be able to watch videos for 30-45 minutes before having to reset my advertising tracker. Now I am having to reset it every 5-10 videos and just now had to reset it after a single video. Anyone else?

I don't think it's a big deal and I think it's a good way to keep beginners interested in the game. I downloaded the game 4-6 weeks ago when Rookie Kershaw was avialble and I thought it was awesome to already have a version of Kershaw on my team and I'm sure a lot of other new players do too. Thanks, that's definitely helpful I guess my main question is, since I still have a few players with only 4-5 speed who I never steal with when I'm playing, if I set stealing to "extreme" are they going to be making a bunch of stupid steals when I autoplay and hurt my chances of winning?

How are people able to save up 55k gold? Even if you farm 2k a day from watching videos you'd still have to do that every day for nearly a month, but I get the impression some people are spending 55k on a weekly basis. Are you guys just throwing your life savings at the game? Grinding the 5k gold HR battles?
