Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Last year we invited several players to our studio in Long Beach. These players came from all over and represented different aspects of the community. We wanted to get a perspective from different points of view. Some of you out there may have questioned why we invited specific people. Each one was selected for a purpose. You sometimes need s shyster to understand them. You need a thief to catch a thief. We didn’t want them to be nice. We needed them to be harsh. We needed them to give us the dirty down low on how the game really works and the inner workings of the black market community, the hustlers, and the underbelly. They were our Suicide Squad. They were able to get truthful and harsh with us to provide us with constructive feedback, which we needed.
Because of them we have made several improvements to the game including the idea for giving the #1 Turf Prize car, lighter wheels to distinguish it a bit more. They helped lead us to the ongoing improvements in matchmaking. Since then they have also been the main reasons we were able to end cloning and the use of modified APKs and get to the nitty gritty of emerging issues.
We didn’t want to sit on our laurels and we still need that player feedback. So next week we will be having our second Player Council. This year we are bringing some of our old members back but we’ve invited some new members from the community.
All you Nitto players may remember Klrbee7c as one of our MODs, well we’re bringing him here to share his thoughts on Rivals.
We’re going to talk about the numbers game with Daniel Powell, who runs the Racing Rivals Collective Records Facebook page.
Car Tuning and Racing? Yeah, we want to know more from a player perspective , so the One and Only PigPen will be here to talk shop.
While she won’t be able to join us in person. Heather McCommon, who is a member and admin for several Rivals community pages was invited and will be here in spirit and through texts.
Also joining us from home will be Josh Fick, who was invited last year but couldn't make it and again can't make it this year... jerk!.. Just kidding!
While here they will see and play an early version of our next big update. 6.0 which is coming in the next few months. They’ll sit down with our devs and artists to provide feedback and talk about the future of Racing Rivals. Together we hope to keep making Rivals better and better.
Thanks to Facebook Live, you’ll be right along with them as they play test the new update and you can watch as they probably beat the crap out of us in our first Racing Rivals Live Tournament: Player Council vs the Rivals Devs.

Like ive said I billion times. All hacks, cheats, exploits, cloning all came from the top and "elite" players. Knoobs don't have high end turfs to clone.
