Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Maybe change is good. But this change isn't good. The way the cars look are awful. And some things we would love and have been asking for aren't there still. Something like when someone adds you as a friend why can't we have the option to approve or deny? You know how annoying it is when you go into a lobby and have multiple random people either add you and ask for something or try to scam you?
2. We're looking into adding an ignore or off feature for global chat
3. Team Invitations - Yes there are issues, we knew it would, mostly due to the split between 5.3 and 6.0 - We're looking into all team management issues
4. Paints - Yes, we're working on these
5. We have fixed a bunch of rims which will roll out within the next few days
6. We're not sloths... we'll be working on fixing things as fast as we can, as we always do.

Again. Just because my iphone is fine, doesn't mean yours may not. But that would be due to different factors. Which again. we won't know unless you put in a ticket for us to take a look at.

Can we see from the "Devs" point of view?
Are you still experiencing performance issues? If so what is still slow?

So why its not on other people's iphones? Well, thats what we're trying to find out.
Running a beta test with players is a lot more logistically difficult than it seems. We did once.. and there is a reason why we didn't do it again.
Also, again... I never said you need the latest tech to run the game. that's like the guys who make Skyrim saying you can only play the game on $5000 gaming rigs.
What I am saying is that, to get the most of the graphical upgrades, you do need a better device. Thats the way it works, that's the way lots of PC games are. If I don't have a powerful graphics card and CPU, I'm not going to run a new game on Ultra... but I can set it to medium and play fine. Same with Rivals, except at this point, we are the ones who set your graphics settings.
So if you are going to "report" us, get your facts straight. Once we've figured out the graphic settings for the 1000 or so devices out there, things should be better, but we and I never said you could only play the game on the latest hardware. That only allows you to take advantage of our higher end graphics and effects, but that won't stop you from playing the game normally.

Though, the iPhone 6 and up should be set at the highest settings. The ones we have here work and look fine.

It is just a painful pill to swallow when RR was my only means of enjoyment when it comes to a game.
I have invested quite a bit of money into this product to keep my enjoyment high over the year I have been playing..
In an earlier comment about graphics, you stated a change was desired, to be more underground, that it was the reason felt why customers were leaving.
In all honesty, it isn't. There was a genuine quality in the graphics that set it apart from the other games.
The most complaints I read about was cheating in races. Light lag, tie glitch and such.
What sets RR apart is the racing itself. Pink slips. No other racing game has the quality of graphics and ease of use as RR does. That is your bread and butter. I'm sure most have tried others to compare. I know I have and quickly deleted them from my phone. Nothing compares in my eyes.
The uts section has a huge following of players that dedicate their time and money into buying, selling and trading... Cars, paint, rims, etc...
Facebook is even larger with countless groups doing the same thing.
You drive your economy up with turf wars, racer showdown, special releases and more. You get more crate purchases with every new release of paints, rims and new lightweight parts.
These communities are the most vital part in keeping this game alive. While some changes are welcomed, this one is apparently not.
There is no harm in listening to your communities. Gathering their information first. I'm sure a high majority of the people would agree with me that the change hurts.
The dollars we spent were not just to get fast cars, it was for the appearance of them. To make them our own. Sure, csr offers more personalization of a vehicle but their gameplay sucks.
Asking us more often would not hurt. Polls will be responded to because any change could affect the work we have strived to gain.
I have a small collection of 20 cars. All Matte orange with mostly gem wheels.

This is what they look like now.
My 62 car Chevelle SS collection looks like a wreck, one of every color in the game and many with gem, crate and first place rims. Almost all look terrible now.
I hate complaining, honestly I do, but my hundreds and thousands of dollars spent seems to have been slaughtered in my eyes.
I love this game. I just want my investment returned to me. Or give me my money back and I'll accept what you offer.
No, I don't like you. I don't have a reason you would comprehend.

After everything is said and done. believe me if you wish, or not, the fact is, the people in this studio are working hard to get this game stable again. We've done it before, we'll do it again.

Update 6.0 begs for the question as to whether the goal of RR was to try to lure new/lost players that have played the other games to which you referenced and hope that the longtime customers aren't too far turned off to the game, or to make the game better for people who have been playing RR and appreciate it for what it was before this update.
As of now, the overall layout of the game is visually unappealing in my opinion (which I realize is just that, my opinion) and I seriously regret buying gems Sunday night as I won't be using them if this is the way the game is going to be.

Mr Alvin72
I can imagine you had your hands full when we betatestet for droid logistic wize. But thats where the "leaders" come in. Let some guys have the logistic problems, with having some people under them. Then the "leaders" report back to you. There is a difference in sorting out reports from many 1000 players and then only 10-20 guys. All im saying if you keep doing things the way you allways had, you will have this problem in 7.0 as well. Unless your lost to much revenue untill that time:(
And you saying each update aint the same? Its excaxtly the same. You got many of the same problems EVERY time you make a new update. The bottle neck on your servers are still there, have you rentet another srrver in those 2-3 weeks to take of some pressure? Naaaaa you didnt... Do you have the same problems you describe, making the game run on many 1000 different devices? YES sir you do. But as allways you try to push the problem to somewhere else. Now its the players hardware. Imo i think its time to man up and say YEAH guys we made yet another not so brilliant update, we are sorry but its OUR fault, that we aint learning from our history. Its truely annoying that you try to run away from your responsibility.
About reporting, it aint about reporting, its about your product is defective, and i refuse to pay for something that aint working the way its suppose to

Several updates now and one simple thing that has been echoed a thousand times is "why do I have to load someone's garage to chat with them?" Update 3, 4, 5 and 6 still no change.
Next time you have a player council maybe you should actually listen to what they are telling you. These are some of the things that people have been asking for and yet nothing changes.
This post isn't all negative though. With 6.0 I can now tune multiple cars at the same time with little to no lag at all. Kudos on fixing that aspect of the game. That was a big one that needed serious work for those who race turf and need to tune cars. Great job there. Please please increase the font and remove the flare at the beginning of a race as well as the pop sound. Or atleast make the tach bigger.
