Gave it another try... Alonso has been moved to 5.8, but still way too difficult! Impressed with those who have cleared the tower. Not sure spending gold on boosts makes much of a difference.
This happened to me. I hit try later, went through the tutorial, and then logged in with my account information by going to the settings tab. Hopefully that will work for you as well.
Choosing what level you take your team depends on 3 factors: 1. Money spent on the game -If you don't have or want to spend money on the game, then having a diamond team probably isn't for you. Fast Pass is extremely helpful to leveling up diamond players. I haven't spend a bunch this year, but I would rather spend my…
We have no idea how the game will change at the Diamond level for the 2020 version of the game. The biggest change this year was removing the cost of gold to take a player up from D1-D10. Even with the reduction of the availability of lxp and pxp, I still think it was easier to level a player in diamond this year as…
@retirepujols My current plan is to try to get 1 cycle a week to build up my gold amount. I will continue to collect CVC rewards. I will spend gold on boxes if a player I really want is released to have as a keeper for next year. Not sure if I will play next year, but I will at least have solid options for keepers.
The purpose of my post was to explain how I built my Diamond team. It was nice to enjoy the game again during the past 11 weeks. Like most people, I have a love/hate relationship with the game. Reaching a stopping point is also a great feeling. I really tried to finish my team without having to spend a ton of time/money.…
If you continue to move up to platinum or diamond, remember that at the higher levels it is quality over quantity. It is better to take 2-3 guys to level 10 than to take 4-5 guys to level 5 or 6. This is especially true for primes. @Tdub71 You will do great during WOH on Monday. Really nice start to your gold team.
I truly hope that people attending the meeting with GLU do not advocate for them to make the game more difficult (specifically WOH). There are 3 ways to make your team better. 1. Spend money 2. Spend a lot of time playing the game 3. Have a good strategy to improve your team for the events you like to play. If a team can…
@dustyhunks it takes about 366k bxp to take a player from bronze 1 to diamond 10. With the reward player capped at d10 yesterday, I was getting 23k bxp per cycle. I would need to cycle over 15 times just to break even. It saves a lot of resources to level a player up with multiple cycles and allows teams to build up their…
I feel that platinum is the worst level to have a team. Cost a lot more to maintain a strong team for WOH and CVC when compared to the gold level. I would only go to platinum if you plan to eventually move to diamond. Then only level up guys that you would want to take to diamond with you. If you don’t plan on going…
Well I finally cleared Diamond Tier 6. I went diamond on June 2nd, so it took a little less than 2 weeks to get through all 6 tiers. Here are some things I leaned along the way. -Having a couple solid pitchers is necessary to win tournaments and playoff games. I would recommend having 2 pitchers at diamond 1 or higher.…
@Metsicans I was on the fence for the jump to diamond until primes starting getting released with very little pxp available. I made the jump and have enjoyed the challenge of building a diamond team. Eventually they will make PXP easier to attain, and I will get a prime player leveled up through cycling WOH. The same will…
@Bigpredfan POTM have a lesser trade in value. Same with POTW. Because of that, the bxp you gain for leveling them up with a WOH cycle is a lot less (around 1/3). Hopefully they don’t have a POTM as a reward on Wednesday.
