This outfit do well too in this SYS. I was shocked see this score, literally is my highest so far 😅😅 and the love aura is missing when I screenshot 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
My last two looks bombed. I was hesitant about the first dress because any time I use a newer outfit it doesn't seem to do as well, probably because more people have seen it and are tired of it. I'm surprised the Spread the Love dress didn't do as well... I usually have pretty good luck with that during SYS. Butterfly aura was no help either 😢
I did the monkey earlier, and that was 53 points. The long pink gown, an aura, a drink or other handheld and long hair have all been doing in the 50s or 49 for me.
but @soundspretty those votes are terribly low. Someone else did well with the dress on the left a little earlier. You got a very very finicky bunch of voters. You know, they're lazy, keep tapping the same side.....then there are those 'Vote for the Worst' voters so you didn't get their votes. Maybe 1 more piece of jewelry? I don't know. You look way better than 33 votes.

It does not matter what the star and diamond equivalent is because the issue is this:
Stars can be *earned* by: Daily videos Offers Leveling up your game Leveling up your professional contacts Leveling up your romantic contacts Businesses
Achievements and alllll that goes along with it (owning things, doing gigs, etc) Gift boxes SYS earnables and Trendsetters prizes VIP weekend events VIP subscription perks And more ....
Diamonds, aside from the 2 or 3 you get in SYS, they currently can be obtained one way.... REAL MONEY $$$$.
Therefore it is much more logical to compare them to a CASH purchase like SMC/FashionGoals.
With an SMC you get generally 3 items (plus 60 stars!) For $10 USD.
For $10 USD worth of diamonds, even using the "best value" pack of 150 diamonds...each diamond's cash value is 33 cents. So, ONE ITEM like an aura that costs 30 diamonds = $10 USD. A hairstyle or dress at 25 diamonds = over $8 USD.
To reiterate: SMC/FG = 3 items plus 60 stars $10 USD Diamonds = 1 item (dress/hair/aura) $8-10 USD
Those of you thinking this is fair, fine, we are all entitled to our opinion. I don't care how you spend your own money.
I, someone who has spent I don't even want to know how much money on this game over the years (enough to buy a friggin Kia probably! 😂), thinks this is pure price gouging on Glu's part. And I'm interested in making this game better, fairer, and accessible to more people than the very tiny minority of completists that have to have everything immediately. Again, *I* am a bit of a completist who spends a lot of money on this game, and I think the current diamond system is down right dirty.
To fix this situation, Glu should implement the following, it's simple:
Make the total amount of earnable diamonds you can get by completing the SYS and winning Trendsetters equal 25 or 30 diamonds total.
All the hard work of grinding a full week of SYS could get you four 5 diamond earnables = 20 diamonds for completing the earnables part of SYS. Then, win Trendsetters and get an additional 10 diamonds for first, 5 for second, and so on.
Literally even with all that, it still adds up to only one decent item per event *if* you meet all the criteria. But at least all of our hard work is worth something and people can potentially feel good about their accomplishment, and not take MONTHS in a dying game!
Glu still makes bank by people buying extra diamonds if they aren't satisfied with one item.
They still make bank from people buying tickets to compete.
They still make bank on people buying stars to have the wardrobe to compete.
One item per event is not too much to ask. We earn one or more items through TB Kollections per week, we earn three items on the weekend. Why should this be such a different, dark turn in this game we all enjoy so much?
