I know we have a forum petition and I think we're at almost 40 players out of the 2,000,000 daily players. I'm seriously considering starting a change.org petition which can possibly reach players that haven't found their way to forum yet.
If ppl can start a petition for Kanye to finish and release his next album...I can certainly start one for these B S gift boxes.

Oh my god, I don"t think I'm going to do weekend events anymore, sorry Glu-- oh wait I'm not sorry... I know you guys are trying to make it harder now that you've JUST discovered hackers, but come on this is ridiculous. You think that I'm going to go ahead and and throw a 3hr party that takes ALL of my energy JUST to fill up one or two stars? There are no excuses--none at all. You guys need to improve on this, I'm sure MOST of the hackers are gone so why are you taking this upon the people that are innocent. It's really not fair and you really cannot say anything to defend yourself in this--don't you guys realize that SO many people are quitting because of what you're doing? You're basically feeding off peoples' money and for what? I'm not even sure if I can take this game anymore! These weekend events are just so stressful and I just cannot deal with them--I can't do ANYTHING really on weekend events because with the storyline gigs they are just going to take times the energy. If you want more players--MAKE THE WEEKENND EVENT AS THEY WERE BEFORE!
On another note : REMOVE THE 4k Cash--Like SERIOUSLY! It's not at all fair to spend 40k-stars and not even have an event item in there. I'm super disappointed in you guys but it isn't the first time.

The rules prohibit discussing other Gamemakers' games. A graphic from the game (or another game) was posted the other day, and it had to come down, and I reminded about the rule so, I think that's why. And with that, if we could just stop talking about it, that would be great.

Come on back. Alk mentioned surprise that the thread is still open. It will stay open because there are problems, and people need to vent and this is a highly monitored thread. This is were you can say what you want without ridicule or reprimand. All you have to do is follow the rules that are the rules. And I'm still ticked about spending 120Stars in a row for 3 boxes in a new 'palette' of giftboxes to get 4000K$ all three times, with other choices I didn't take were for Energy, and a couple of 40Stars. I just broke up with my wife two days ago!!!! ARGH!!! I was at max points (12,000) so I wasn't earning much from the relationship and I was tired of her standing there in all my homes. Geez, so clingy! I break up with her and 48 hours later Glu changes things where I could have earned more points and another baby. Dang it.
Speaking of second babies, I wish our first one could transform into a toddler (like North). It could be so much fun to dress a toddler!

This game is getting on my nerves, okay so I have an 8hr gig and I only have 8hrs to do it to impress some guy. This honestly just sucks and I have now time for this because school is like 8am-3:30 over where I am so I literally have no time especially with all the loads of homework and UGH! I'm kind of 50/50 about the update.
First, I've never been a fan of the baby hype. I got married and everything out of curiosity [which, for the record, I ain't divorcing my wife since that cost me k-stars], and the same goes for having a baby [which, curiosity killed the cat, so now I'm stuck with a kid and can't pay child support in the event of getting divorced].
Besides that, I ain't divorcing because whether or not I like it, my wife's useful for dating events, and I was at max points with her, so meh.
I have some complains about the update though:
First: The new clothing is -still- part of daily gift boxes, which honestly I dislike. At least it's not half a.ssed like last time.
Second: Deleting contacts would be cool and dandy if they let us delete Game Center contacts as well. This has been a HUGE issue with the game for so long and honestly I've lost hope about my deleted contacts getting anywhere close of disappearing any time soon.
Third: They are rehashing Stardom: Hollywood locations and putting them in this game and it's starting to look a little too obvious.
There are some good sides tho:
Those Bis Un Bout by Louboutin, smart move, Glu, and it was even smarter to draw them with a double buckle instead of one. I can see that y'all wanna avoid some lawsuits considering Louboutin is very protective of his creations. [EDIT: The originals have one buckle that goes all the way around your ankle twice, but this is a different design. This is for anyone who wants to google the shoes]
Those new achievements and the rewards. I got 50-something kstars and couldn't stop laughing because the game kept throwing money and stars at me, so congrats for making me happy. At least I got to recover the wasted 40 kstars I used for your past event, which wasn't fruitful in the least.
I worry that the event boxes are gonna have regular clothing considering I have fallen victim to this syndrome. Please fix that and the GC friends thing because it's kinda getting on my nerves.
I deleted all my GC friends because I am planning to do my second comeback, so if I had you added I'm really sorry!

Yes, it's a nuisance but I don't think it's going anywhere so you have to adapt. I finished a party, completed two 3 hr gigs, and started another gig with all the energy I received yesterday from the new achievements. The only thing I couldn't do while the achievement boxes were waiting to be clicked was invite a friend to the gig.

And I still haven't got the Jen and Mario quests...
so i'm level 10 and i'm dating the girl Kim sets you up with in the beginning of the game. she calls for a date so we go to oak. while there the go on 3 perfect date goal pops up. fine, as soon as i exit oak she calls again asking for another date. so i go back in start the second date in a row. finish it up a little later 5 stars and all and i leave. as soon as i exit oak she calls and demands 17 star ransom ffs.
this game is so broken on the most basic levels. it's amazing

All this time I thought there was something wrong with my game, because so many people got the quest as soon as the Jen and Mario update was available. I thought it was meant to be automatic for all games.
It turns out that it's NOT a quest that is automatically given to us when we update - you only get it when you have completed a number of other quests. Namely the "Star Style" quest, where rumours about how you get your eyebrow game are spread online and you appear on your own style show to set the record straight and give your real 'tips' to your fans. When you've completed that storyline, there is a couple other gigs after, THEN Kim will call you to her home to meet Mario and Jen.
I wish someone had explained this to me weeks ago, all this time I thought my game hadn't been updated properly but it turns out this is normal! Just carry on completing your gigs until you get to it, when you've finished the first part of the Star Style quests you WILL be called.
