I cleared the top tower 5 times today. Probably could have done 10 but I just don't have the time or patience to grind all day at it anymore. Didn't have much trouble other than one cycle Snell giving me a tough time.
I must be the only dummy who buys an extra franchise coin slot for 1K intentionally early in the year. I find that doubling up on franchise coin studs for tough playoff series games and tough season mode finals proves to be quite useful.
Gotta love when you got the winning run on 3rd, hit a little dribbler to the pitcher, he double clutches and throws home and the catcher lays the tag on you well after you've slid across the plate and you're called out. I can only conclude that Angel Hernandez is the official umpire of Tap Sports Baseball.
You guys ever notice on WOH you can sort of "read" when a 2nd pitch ball might be coming? It's hard to explain...after you see a strike that does not quite split the plate but is not "unhittable" might be the best way to explain it?
If you get a 15,000 gold gift for this, you better spend that bad boy immediately because they will be repossessing it in short order. Can't take back what you don't have.
Crashing all day. I can Uninstall, reinstall, login again, and play, until the next time I have to close or leave the app. Then it's back to square one and I get to 39% and it crashes.
@DFBB Thanks for passing that along. So I guess nearly F2P players (purchasing for ad removal or ballpark only) are going to have to deal with 8 hour waits on season mode.
@DFBB Is there a chart anywhere with every perk gained on every Allstar level? I know a guy who is All Star 4 and had the 7 hour season mode perk last year but doesn't have it this year.
I would say as a rule of thumb, if you get an 80K gift of gold, spend it. Immediately. Team upgrades, XP boxes, whatever. Don't save it. I can promise you I can find use for 80K gold even if the weekend boxes suck. Just spend it because you know damn well you are up against the clock.
Never seems to work the other way around when we make a mistake, does it? I've accidently spent gold on many boxes and draft picks over the years by tapping the button by a *mistake*. Whenever I have asked them to reverse the purchase because of my mistake, the response from CS has always been the same: "go pound sand".…
I can't figure out rally at all. I don't even have enough tickets for the lowest event. I thought I had gotten a bunch of tickets since launch from the daily box and other things, but I haven't been keeping track so maybe I'm wrong. My thought is that it exists to incentivize full clubs over individual clubs but I am not…
I guess I could be remembering wrong but I recall last year's early WOH being less difficult. Not something to be cycling but pretty beatable at Silver. Still had the noodle bats but situations were very basic. Something like down 3-1 with 2 runners on on 5-10.
Are people seriously going to be cycling this? I've got capped 295s at Gold 10 looking silly at 5-7 with an 80 gold boost. I'm hoping to beat it once then sticking to Warmup for resources. This is ridiculous.
@DFBB Why would that be great? Android is still an enormous piece of the global mobile market. It's frustrating enough that Droid users are now forced to jump through excessive hoops just to enjoy the same benefits that IOS users get. I'm a paying customer -- by no means a big one in terms of what some people spend, but…
Agreed. It's every 2 videos and it's completely ruined videos for gold for Android users. I'm not going to do 250 Captchas per day. I have no problem with some reasonable measures to discourage autotapping but every 2 videos is beyond ridiculous.
I have to think that GLU/EA has some sort of agreement with Apple to try to push gamers toward the IPhone. The Captcha frequency on Android has gone from annoying in '20 to beyond absurd in '21.
I think it's a good idea but one that just isn't going to work well at all in practice. I have a hard enough time finding a matchup sometimes when it's just cash and gold battles.
@DFBB I agree, but I'm disappointed to see that Captcha appears to be just as prevalent as it was in '20. I can't get through more than 2 videos for gold without verifying again. Android users are really going to be forced to complete 250 Captcha's per day to use our full allotment of videos? That's obscenely over the…
