I haven't gotten the past two weekend events and I contacted Glu directly through the app. It says I got responses but once I went to check, it was blank. And it was right after I spent the 10$ for the Khloe's Birthday event so I was feeling pretty let down. I wish I could see what solutions they offered but their messages were no longer there.
In the options menu, you there is a restart, or reset button which erases all of your game progress and has you start at the beginning again. Any purchased stars or game cash is restored to your account, however you lose everything else (your Contacts will stay put, if they are real life friends that you have added). The sent gifts....Are already sent, so your friends are not affected by your decision to restart. Although I have restarted in the past, I do not recommend doing it. You literally lose all of your things, and you have to go through the same tasks over again.

Totally. This is why I would never restart my game. Event clothes, the gifts that people like you bought me... Yeah I know coz I've bought people gifts here before, too & for them to just throw it all away is kind of hurtful to me. Any gift I've received from my GC fam I've kept, cherished, and worn. It's just not worth it to me just because I felt ripped off from gift boxes.
The way we feel about gift boxes must be how people feel leaving Vegas. In the heat of the moment, we buy the gift boxes, and how many times, after we spend 40Stars, get 4000$ do we turn around and buy another one because we can't walk away with nothing. And that's what 4000$ is to me, compared with the 40Stars it cost. I hate that we need bonus items from the gift boxes to do better in the game. Why not put the gift box outfit together, slap a Star Price on it, and if we want to spend Stars of the outfit, we do, and we get the benefit of the bonus items. That way Glu gets paid, we get the bonus items if we choose to spend it, and no one feels cheated. I absolutely hate the gift boxes. And yet, I become enticed, I try, I lose, I become frustrated and angry about the game. I read post after post of people who feel the same way. I think the whole gift box issue is what makes people think the game is greedy. They could make more money, and have a much better public perception if they'd remove that negative aspect and turn it into a profitable positive thing. "Oh, look at the great outfit Glu offered for sale. ANd they're bonus items. I love Glu" vs. "Oh, look at the gift box outfit. I'll never get it. All I get are 4000$ boxes and ugly yellow shirts right out of the wardrobe I could buy if I wanted. Now I spent all my stars, I want to start over. I hate this" Both ways, Glu gets us to spend stars, one way makes us happy, one way makes us angry. You can't put angry in the bank. I'm hoping their is a big turnaround now that hacked games aren't effective anymore.
oh, new point of cranky....I love all the bikini outfits in the update. You can't buy one of them. Huh? They're gift box items only? Finally new things come out, and we can't even buy them? Ugh. Ok rant over. ⚘ I complain, but I love it here.

Everything Koko said. They seem so greedy on gift boxes. It's such a gamble I'm so afraid to open them again. Should they really put a price tag on gift box items, I'll be glad to spend more money. It's a definite thing, you pay, you gain. Unlike the gamble aspect in gift boxes currently, you pay, you lose. I play other games and I spend way much more there than here because I know what I'm paying money for, premium currency for items. We all complain because we love the game and want the best for it. I've already seen so many people go.
It's really disappointing how this whole gift box thing has turned. I think most of us have been there... Over spending to get a certain item and sometimes they aren't even in the box to begin with! Also like KoKo said, it's suppose to be a special item and a lot of times they'll have stuff you can you go buy if you like, what's so special about that!?! And with every update their is less clothes and the reason is more than obvious they are hoarding it for events
I really can't imagine how much real money one would have to spend a MONTH to be able to get EVERYTHING they put out. Mind boggling!
Thank God I've never fallen into this trap. Surprisingly, I never craved pretend clothing. But I do look forward to sales and pop-ups. Would definitely buy if it's presented to me as Kim's Picks in a discounted price and bundle.

I'm getting really annoyed with people who say their going to gift you but they don't and to make matters worse they have millions of fans so that even though you delete the, from your game it takes extra work to get to #1 this is why I try to lo,it myself when adding people on GC but now I. Just causing myself trouble all of my friends are in the Top 10 and I have to be 461.6mil fans.. Great!

If you wanna keep your friends but don't want them to keep gaining fans, log out of GC and that freezes their fan count. Don't log in until you've surpassed them.

You, however, can log out of Game Center without losing your progress or friends. Just go to settings>Game Center>tap on your apple ID and then choose "sign out".
This signs you off GC, which allows you to still play KKH with no problem. This will keep your friends added on your game, but it won't let them gain more fans because their fan count will be "frozen". Obviously when you log in again their fan count will update so, you can either do that, or delete your GC friends, but this unfortunately doesn't remove them from the game. It still freezes their fan count, though.
