That is normal and how's it's always worked. When there are ties, each person in the tie takes up a space in the rank, so 1st, 2nd, 3rd(3rd), 3(4th), 3(5th), 3(6th), 7,8,9 and so on.
So after submitting my second look I am in 29th place and my score reverted back to zero 😳and this is after I only got 1 ticket to start SYS instead of 2 🤦🏻♀️😒
Ok so I submitted tickets and at 1st I was getting 5 points for 5 hearts. Now im getting 1 point per 5 hearts. I have 40.5 points and almost all 5 heart scores. Is good happening to everyone??? I usually spend a lot of money but I will not spend 1 ticket for 1 point I refuse!!! @KalindaKing

My first 2 looks 😮💨 Kind of disheartened to get that 3.5 but I also have no idea what that means compared to votes. Also as much as I enjoy dressing my doll up, I don’t love spending 30 minutes on one look. This is just wayy too time consuming. Normally I just log in whenever I have time, most often i’m at school or work and I just pick some cute outfit in few minutes, but having to coordinate two outfits, which equals to 28 outfits is something I don’t really have the time for lmaoo.

This is probably a very controversial thing to say, but I honestly don't think excessive ticket buyers should be complaining about how "unfair" this game really is? Um...look in the mirror maybe? A ticket here or there is okay and acceptable, but buying a gazillion tickets within ten minutes? Um. Sorry, but I just hope I'm never in the same group as people like that. They're the reason this game is no fun, and sometimes I can't tell if it's bots or really people paying for many votes.
I've seen people with 1000 votes, 2000 even, but when I saw someone buying 47000 votes, I was convinced that it had to be a bot, but I guess that it can be a person too...
Maybe that's mean to say, but then again, it is, considering it's not their fault really. It's Glu's for enabling this kind of behavior. I wish SYS was more fun and fair than this. I roll my eyes every time I see a compulsive ticket buyer; it doesn't make the game that much fun anymore and it's really the reason that I don't even play that much anymore.
Anyway! Back to talking about Duets. It's fun and I like the feature, but tbh, it's exhausting. Dressing up two people takes like 15 minutes, considering they have to be at least somewhat cohesive to get good votes. This definitely isn't something I want to have every SYS; it's very time-consuming and draining. I'd put more effort into it if it was my friends, but the fact that I'm dressing up random NPCs doesn't make it that fun.

Im certain that this is not the way it worked before. It never happen to me before that spots were missing. I mean when there are two people tied in the 3rd place, the next one goes 4th
So I didn’t spend the tickets I bought in the throwback sys but when I’ve started this one they’ve took away my three tickets. I got the next three not thinking about it meaning I should of had eight to start with not two. I mean I don’t like this sys but I paid for those tickets so I should still have them to use on another sys
I kind of want to level down so I did decide to submit some looks to see how it works. Here’s my first look. I also think I started with 1 ticket. I swear I had more tickets saved. But whatever. While this is fun in theory, it’s too hard. I can’t imagine doing this 13 more times. I’m going to run out of stuff quickly. I can’t imagine a Duet SYS that actually has a theme.

I came here to see if there were others having issues with scores. I’m currently sitting at 6.5 from my first two looks. Yet both got a full 5 hearts. So I’m confused how this actually works or if it’s another glitch.
I just saw 2 gorgeous looks in the voting booth up against each other and I screenshot it but since my phone storage is so full, it didn’t save to my photos! I hope I can find them here. One duet had the blue glittery dress with the poofy part at the top of it and the blue glittery gloves from the Couture Kollection with another matching blue glittery dress. I think they both had slick back “Ariana” ponytails but one of them had braids in their ponytail. The other duet had the long sparkly grey dress with black sleeves and the doll’s collar bone showing. It was an earnable (one that you got first from like 225 votes). They both had that dress but one was dyed gold and the other was dyed purple with such gooood matching makeup including contour and eyeshadow. Lots of glitter. And I think they had the same hairstyle. They both had such good makeup.
I’m trying to describe it really well so I could find them! lol I was going to post the screenshot and say something like “how can I pick 😫!”
Took me this long to realize this, but any items used for submitted looks are all locked. If my doll uses a pair of earrings and the other dolls uses a different pair, they both lock! So we're basically cutting our clothes and accessories in half. This makes things a bit harder since I have only certain jewelry that I use. It should only lock for whatever doll uses it.

I’m exhausted already and I’ve only made two looks (with female dolls).
Luckily for this theme it seems we can just mix and match gowns, but I can’t imagine what a disaster it would be to have a niche theme and having everything locked because we’ve used all our items to style two dolls.
The way the tie system works now is an absolute joke, this needs to be fixed. It seems like 3/4 of the group could potentially miss out on all TS items now, which is a huge kick in the teeth to people who have faithfully submitted high scoring, on theme looks all weekend.
I’m refusing to spend any diamonds on the new boxes. There have been many weeks where I didn’t care for any show stopping style look, and now when one comes around that I like (this week for example), I have to spend 15 diamonds to risk getting an item I purposefully avoided the first time? Nah. I’d take tickets over most of the items to be honest.
When I play a diamond box, I’m playing for THAT WEEKS OUTFIT. I was happy to gamble 5 diamonds here and there but I absolutely won’t use 15 diamonds. The old boxes were a rip off already, but I’ll take those back in a heartbeat. I’d rather pay 5 diamonds and get dye than pay 15 and get some strange accessory that only makes sense in the context of the entire outfit.
I’m also getting really over the constant barrage of unattainable outfits. Each week we have a storyline outfit to buy (150-200 K stars), a weekend outfit to earn, a weekend outfit in gift boxes, a diamond box outfit, an earnable SYS outfit, and a TS outfit. Add in a new Kollection every fortnight, fashion goals rotations, and a VIP weekend event month and it becomes overwhelming. And absolutely nothing gets added to the Kloset anymore for us to buy at our own pace. Everything is presented with a sense of urgency and a deadline and it sucks.
This got a lot more negative than I wanted but I’m just tired. If you got this far into my rant, thank you. I just wanted to feel heard!
