this diamond situation is a no from me dawg. prize distribution for trendsetters is already unequal, you're just adding more s**t to force players to pay. that's not very cash money of you.

Taking away the k stars to put a lame energy reward screams money greed. Seems Glu just will find any way to lure people into buying more k-stars. But never actually give us anything amazing for free. Lol the best tapjoy offers involve me pulling out my credit card. Let alone game offers might not always accurately work. Honestly I just want to play a fair game n not have to overuse my credit card. Earning k stars are not remotely earned fair, I can’t imagine diamonds now. It cost 100 $ for 1250k stars, believe me, I’ve purchased it and more than once. It’s never  enough(:! this game rips you off bc everything is so highly priced. But you have some dedicated players I swear. To be paying that much money and more. But those who don’t wanna pay those absurd prices, struggle to earn k stars. It’ll benefit glu to the best to fix this n take in our needs. Cause if not, Bye Kkh✌🏼

Since this is something new I would hope that they told us the idea early so that we could give feed back on it, I am hoping that this feed back is being heard and actually considered because it is a big deal and it is clear that not one person is happy about this change, if you want us to spend our money then don’t make changes that You know will upset all of the players

Alright. I knew when I came to the forum and saw like 200 unread posts in this thread that I would be upset.... but wow. Removing k stars for a currency nobody asked for?? This is getting unreal. I was actually really excited for this new feature too, along with nervous, which was clearly for a reason. 

I pay $50 a month for gold VIP. I buy both fashion goals every month. Sometimes when I really lose self control I buy another star pack or a couple tickets.... For what??? There’s no way I should be spending this much money on a game only to NOT be able to afford what I want? Kollections are increasing in price, despite less and less new items being available. And now, stars are being even harder to earn?????? Yeah, count me out on that one. 

I love the idea to shop looks, and I love the chance to buy items more recent than in throwback kollections. Sounds great. But doing it like this? This ain’t it, glu.

Keep the stars. Replace energy/kash. Thanks.

All of this. I treated myself to gold this month because I play this game all the time. I do treat myself to SYS tickets here and there and fashion goals. I can not fathom all of the sudden having to collect something else. It's all about kstars and it should stay that way. It's SUCH an insult to all the people who pay to play this and all the people NOT paying who work their fingers off trying to get kstars. I get the bottom line of this game is all about Kash but this REALLY sucks. SYS games are fun but stressful with the different times and themes but getting number one is rewarding because you get a huge chunk of kstars. No one wants "diamonds"

Do right by your customers. Not everything in life is a cash grab. Honestly I may unsubscribe VIP and actually spend my hard earned money on something tangible that won't tank like this game will if they don't start caring what their customers actually want from it.

I'm very disappointed in the removal of kstars which are so hard to earn in the first place. Please put them back & have the diamonds in addition.

And the diamonds?... If I wanted to play covet, I would. We don't need a third currency to not have enough of. Pretty sure I'll never earn enough diamonds to do anything fun with them & will also have the hit in kstar earnings because of them... just like after making a real life cash purchase & having my video ads for free kstars drop from 20 to 5. I'm still bitter on that one too.

This game will not get real life money from me for any diamond purchases or earnings. Make this nonsense go away.

@KalindaKing can you tell us the timeframe of items we can buy? You said not very new and recent items but what would be considered “very new”?

Blimey. I was super busy yesterday so didnt have time to check the forum, but when I saw how many posts were in this thread I knew it couldn't be good...

There isn't much different I can add to what many have already articulated, but the removal of kstars is a big no from me!  I will reserve judgement on the diamonds until I see how it works and the exchange rate of them. But the fact we can only spend them during SYS is already a huge gripe for me.

Until then off to lament over the distinct lack of pink in my wardrobe. If my doll did laundry I'd definitely be chucking a red sock in the white wash right about now in desperation...

I usually buy something before the SYS event that can help me when I’m in trouble - like a hairstyle etc. I’m not a long-time player and it works because I’ve been able to finish the latest SYS events even though my doll only owns recent events items and kloset items, but I’m not sure if I will still be able to do that since I’m getting -25 k-stars (Earnable prizes + second place prize)
