I agree, four hours is too long. Also, have you noticed how after you submit a style you can get "Results" in like, less than a minute? Having to pay stars for an immediate result is beside the point; who's voted on your look that fast?? No oneeeee.

I think that this is by far the worst voting event in my own opinion. I didn't see any throwback clothing on my none of my boxes. I think that waiting for four hrs to find out your results seems too long to me. It should be at least every two hrs to wait for your results whether you won or lost the outfits that you've resubmitted.
And I won't be able to finish the event on my second game today since my WiFi is jacked up. Ugh! I have no access to use the Internet on my other device.

BAD:
There were NO "throwback" items in ANY of my boxes!!! Even those at the end where I paid stars to open them. If you read over other people's posts, they also have no throwback items in their boxes!
I think something has to be done with the randomizing. I know this is a GAME, but if we want to open 3 boxes for 12 DOLLARS to find out that none of the WHOLE PALETTE has any event items (and getting DAILY GIFTBOX ITEMS and ENERGY in the process!), I might as well throw that money to a casino where I might win MORE REAL MONEY back! And as I said before, it usually takes around 70 dollars to get all 4 event items if I am lucky. But why should I be so unlucky when some people get all event items on their first try? How come they only spend X amount of money while I have to spend 5x more to get the same items?
This is a GAME to escape reality, not something I should be stressing over every week and getting fumed that people get their stuff without anything and I have to pay out the wazoo for those same items. And yes, I know no one FORCED me to buy these K-stars to get the items, but seriously at $4 a box... There are restaurants that do $4 meal deals now. Every single box you open is basically A MEAL. With the money I spend every week to "TRY" to get the items (and sometimes I don't succeed!), I could have fed myself for half a month!
TL-DR: If you still want to randomize these boxes, MAKE AT LEAST ONE GUARANTEED event items appear in them because I keep getting NO event items in my box palettes!
GOOD:
The increasing K-Stars to open boxes starting from 20 K-Stars. That is a GOOD change from the 40 K-Stars each box that we have now and is more reasonable.
Yeah, there weren't any event items in both of my palettes, either. I know the chances were less than on weekends, but what's the point then? They gotta work on that.

Well this mid-week event gives me life. Only coz I won something. I refuse to get salty. In the end, it's just a frickin game. If I get too serious, then that's my time to shut my game down for a couple of days and focus on something else.
Ive spent too much time getting salty on this game in the past. No more.
I finished the event and overall, I'm happy. I got in the boxes: $2500, 25 stars, 40 stars, and a pair of striped pants. It's nice that I got 65 stars for little effort. I think I will buy another Balmain piece!

I managed to finish a little early because of the quick-results glitch. These were my sets of boxes for anyone interested! Not too impressed with the contents, but I could never complain about free boxes in the middle of the week?

I really liked this middle of the week event. It was fun to have something to do aside from just on the weekends and increases my interaction with the game.
The only thing I might change (aside from ironing out the glitches) is perhaps including a preview of things you might be able to win in the boxes. In the previous two throwback events, included in the announcement graphic are some of the items that are in the gift boxes. Perhaps adding something like this to the graphic will motivate me to open a few more boxes next time, spend a few more kstars. Just sayin'. Overall, I liked the event, thanks for the boxes and for giving your loyal players something new(ish) to do during the week!

Xan's boxes was upsetting as it didn't contain any event items. I don't own any of them but they didn't appear in both sets She's always the victim of such bad luck.
Then the golden boxes, speaking of which... I had been wondering what the talk about golden boxes were and finally realized that the gift box items in closet were categorized into white, black and gold boxes. O.m.g close to 1 year of playing and I just found out only. No wonder I don't see those items in daily boxes!

And so with that in mind, I read Carol's post about their clothes not being available yet; however, such clothes have been in my game since I first started playing--and my thought is that they--both the clothes and the NPCs wearing them--were ripped as is from other Glu games. Because we know for sure where the ho barmaid at Lif came from. I recognize other, random NPCs in my KKH from Stardom as well. And while I saw from someone's screen shot that Starbeans is in KKG, am thanking god it's not in KKH. As for the St. Patrick's Day ring...I saw a few dolls wearing the Xmas event box holly earrings, so am thinking that's not a good barometer. At any rate, realizing we're probably having to vote on fake dolls is definitely dissuading, there are too many and that made me stop voting altogether early this afternoon. Then again, prob the dummy dolls are needed as filler. I believe the fake dolls don't have any event items; no special sets like from Kim's Closet or the recent Balmain earrings and handbag kind of stuff; or engagement rings. I think they don't have access to Lagerfeld, Balmain, or Lieber items. Any other observations, please tell, k?

People who think less is more, and more is...more. New players who had to save like crazy to buy a wedding dress or gown, and it's their *best clothes*, and same with the birthday gown and the one-piece swimsuit with sarong and thong sandals that were a gift from Kim.
At any rate, I always ascribe to something I read at Pop Sugar a year or two ago: Always have a party on your arm.

I just finished the event.. This was actually really hard because I kept losing and I was worried I wouldn't finish in time.
Of course I forgot to take screenshots of my boxes (as always) but I got daily giftbox items in two, energy in one, and then 40 kstars in the last one (YAY!)

Yes, Dixie has that dress. I don't recall which weekend event it was from but it was definitely a Weekend Event.
It was around easter time I believe. Same time as the Blue Shoes, and the Easter pastel and white dress. Hope this helps.

Final box I got the black pantsuit which was the last one I needed. Saw a few other Kstar things but never any throwback stuff. Considering that wasn't just a possibility and not a promise, I thought it was nice. I'd been doing 3 hour tasks for the last few wks and was just gonna ignore the game til the weekend, so this helped me open it more often. Needless to say I like the idea so far.
