Aaron Sanchez plays for my beloved Blue Jays. Last year he was a reliever. This year he was supposed to be a reliever but Stroman tore his ACL and now Sanchez is being considered as a starter. This is why you're getting conflicting information. Hold onto to him. He's got crazy junk and I expect him to have a great year.
The game is pretty buggy. Entire games disappear all the time. I was drilling a few teams and the next time I logged in those games disappeared. Happened a few times. Also sometimes you can search out a new opponent and not find one. It's a bit frustrating so far. That being said, I'm hitting made bombs in this game. My…
Not sure why you guys can't find it. Maybe try turning your devices on and then off? Anyway, it's rough starting from the beginning again. Seeing 80 MPH beach ball looking pitches float over the heart of the plate and then watching your 1 star player hit a soft grounder back to the pitcher. It's like a bad dream where…
Thanks for the suggestions and insight, fellas. In no way do I claim to be doing things the right way. Perhaps I've been a bit unlucky in the drafts along the way. Maybe it's time I give the suggestions offered a try and see how it works out. I just read so many people complaining about lags in the game when they go for…
Jeebus, how much money did you have to spend to get a rotation like that? I scratch and clawed my way for a year and a half playing everyday and my best pitcher is Greinke. And I wouldn't go with Greinke. He's pitched 61 games (mostly against legends), 309 innings and has a 5.04 ERA. Then again, I'm only at upgrade 6, and…
I do it every time I have a big lead and I'm not worried about a comeback. Only with 9 speed players. I'd say my success rate is around 50% out of a hundred or so attempts. Pretty cool feeling when you steal third with 1 out and pretty much just have to make contact to cash in a run. Outside of having a big lead it's…
I had Stammen for a long while but he got hit hard. And every time I batted against him I would rough him up quite a bit. Eventually got Buddy Carlyle, but ended up trading him too as his ERA was over 6. Now I just accept that I can't sub out a starting pitcher until the 4th or 5th inning. All endurance long relievers are…
I played for several weeks when the game didn't have any mlb players. Back then there was always quality free agents available to draft for a nominal amount of cash. I had an awesome team and when the update happened they replaced a lot of my great players with mediocre mlb players and I was quite ticked.
I was being a ****. In all seriousness franchise coins has allowed me to demo a lot of top players to decide later on if they are worth spending gold on. The truth is you can demo the best player in the game and have bad at bats or face a strong opponent and conclude they are worthless. I just disagree, and I think if you…
I just let my inactives build up until I can trade them in for a #1 draft pick. This way the game never gets bogged down and crashes. Half of my best players have been acquired this way. Good luck.
Congratulations, this thread has been nominated for worst thread of 2015. Stay tuned in December to see the results. In the interim, what's next for you?
Yeah, you're right. I guess it's just a part of this game that you either commit to stay or to steal, and once you're caught there's no rundown. You just slide into the second baseman's glove.
I won every playoff series the first time up until I hit legends. I hope you're patient and up for a challenge. Because at some point you'll want to quit when the legends snap 10 runs on you in the 1st inning.
There are no rundowns in TSB. It's probably the most illogical thing about this game. Every player decides during a pick-off move that his best option is to run to second, instead of diving 5 feet the other way. It's literally the dumbest choice he can make.
4. If a fielder can get to a foul ball, it will be caught 999,999 out 1,000,000 times. If by chance he misses it, the game will count it as a fair ball. 5. All fielders must wear an unwashed #66 jersey. 6. Line-drives will never be dropped. You can send a 102 MPH pitch back twice as hard to the pitchers face and he will…
I had a ball bounce off the left fielders mitt and head into the corner. The left fielder ran at it but at a bad angle. He hit the wall 5 feet away from the ball and just kept mashing his face off the wall repeatedly. I laughed at him and called him names for much longer than I'm willing to admit. After some time when I…
I was too busy partying all weekend for gold. Even missed my check-in day on a first-rounder. It actually felt good to not be attached to this game or think about it. Might take a week off too and see if it's more enjoyable when I return. Heck, I might even read a book instead of playing.
Something cool I'll share that I'm sure a few of you guys may have discovered: The best time to steal is right after a pitch-out. At first I thought I found a glitch in the game because the pitcher never pitches-out twice in a row, and never goes for the pick-off attempt after a pitch-out. But about a month ago a pitcher…
